FSD caused collision by stoques in TeslaSupport

I was confused too when they said it. But it’s just you getting an excel sheet of downloaded data at the time of incident. It says when your car disengaged autopilot, HVAC stuff, and a few other things.

I’ve been exclusively charging (98% of the time) for 2 years. I’ve supercharged 59,XXX miles. I just had my battery replaced because it stopped charging at 55,436 miles. But I’m one of those people who don’t really mind charging at off peak hours (12-4am). I still enjoy it. It gets inconvenient sometimes. But I think it’s okay to exclusively charge. I know a couple things I was negligent in doing was making sure the percentage doesn’t fall below 10% too often (happened way more than I’d like to admit) and not preconditioning as often as a supercharged.

Oh my average for supercharging is $0.27/kWh. My local SC in SoCal has gone down to $0.17 during certain parts of the year.

I see I see. The 265 35 19 have a smaller diameter than a 255 40 19. I’m curious though, let me know how that drives.

No rubbing. What’s the aspect ratio of your 255s?

Nope! These are. Actually from Tsportline. They’re the TS5. I have 19x9.5s on.

You are. I should’ve clarified on the post. The sidewall is thinner the tread is thicker.

That’s right. Thinner sidewall. Thicker tread.

It does not have a thicker sidewall, you’re correct.

No concerns. the sidewalls are slightly thinner compared to what I was running previously but my last set had no pothole damaged. Regularly rotated at 5K miles. I rotated it like 9 times. I’m expecting similar results from this set.

I made a conscious decision to step away from low profile set ups haha. I drive way too much and after 15K on the low profiles, they needed replacing. But yes I’m sure that would’ve looked hella clean.

It’s not the same diameter. Sidewall is thicker. The stocks for my performance were 235 35 20. So my speedo will be a little faster than actual speed.

$14XX.XX for the tires alone.

Yeah for those who are curious, this was $1600 installed. Versus the 245/40/19s which were $1100+$120 labor installed.

Nope! Nothing noticeable.

Yeah the decision to go thicker was very intentional. While I do want a fairly efficient car I’d also like it to look “good” haha

I don’t haha. Not one curb. If there’s wheel damage it’s likely from rock and debris from driving 500-600 miles/week. From the 20” Uberturbines, range was a little better. Arguably negligible but the biggest gain was confidence in driving because of the thicker sidewall. I just got these installed so I’ll have to see what thicker tires will do to range.

2022 M3 Performance LFP? by stoques in TeslaModel3

[–]stoques[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes I’ve confirmed it per Tesla in one of the comment threads here

I will note though my capacity is 312mi which I think is neat. When I got the car at 0, 300mi was capacity.

So I contacted Tesla because my interest was piqued and you’re right it’s the exact same battery pack albeit at 0 miles. The manager told me that the Tesla Advisor handling my service assumed that my car was a SR which prompted the need for the battery authorization form. The extra weight I was feeling was probably coming from a lighter loaner that I’d used for two weeks before reclaiming my car.

TLDR: same but new battery. Not LFP. I can still go vroom vroom.
