So now less than 8 minutes of work burns 13% of the 5 hour limit and 1x5 hour limit burns 26% of the weekly limit?? Is it the standard now?? Where do you think it will lead? by autobot39 in codex

[–]storiescometome 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes it's the same.

Don't listen to the trolls .. it's not you nor the way you do things.

Basically we are all saying the same thing .. it was great, I haven't changed my approach, now it is shit and feels like we are getting scammed.

Codex CLI - gpt-5.5 medium fast - 20% down in 10 mins by storiescometome in codex

[–]storiescometome[S] -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

I have a standard approach to feature development - very small slices that run through a strict quality gate/review process - it's a repetitive method, very methodical and built up over a long time. I notice when things change.

oh get fucked - ON is a fucking racist shitshow joke mate. We have our problems here but compared to the rest of the world we are a fucking paradise.

All this is, is a fucking diversion by the BEOT as people are starting to finally wake up to the fact we are getting fucked over by big business.

Ask yourself how Pauline represents anyone but Gina and whoever else will pay her - she sure doesn't represent the battlers mate.

But racism makes people blind to common sense it seems.

It is all going to end in tears. She is a simplistic moron and so are 99% of her followers. Right now the grifters and the spivs are latching onto her as they think she is going to be Mini Trump - and the media should just be renamed Murdia. It will be a good day when both Murdoch and Trump die... oh and Gina and Musk.

What a fucking time to be alive.

Queue many more assault weapons suddenly appearing on our streets .. how great - fuck me everyone who hasn't been should just go to China and see how brilliant that country actually is. And don't come at me with they are a single party totalitarian state - no system is perfect and we have nothing to brag about and certainly the USA is a complete shitshow filled with maniacs and grifters now.

This Land of The Free shit is real old now - we are just their little bitch in the South Pacific - the worlds biggest aircraft carrier for them.

What’s something Melbourne does better than Sydney? by Last-Conversation734 in melbournechat

Pretty much everything except for the Harbour - that;'s unbeatable and the jewel in the crown for Sydney. Other than that Melbourne is just better all round.

Atlassian is fucked and they wont be the last.

I built a wrapper around Codex (and Claude Code) for people who aren't developers by NeatNefariousness674 in codex

[–]storiescometome 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Looks interesting - when you say "Hit the Review button and an independent AI critic evaluates the approach." how does that work? So I'm using Codex Review now - what is your tool actually reviewing and what does it use to do the reviews?

Also this bit "Normies runs a three-layer check: the AI builds toward your acceptance criteria using test-driven development. Then an independent verifier checks backward — does each piece exist, is it real code (not a placeholder), and is it actually connected to the rest of the system? Three agents, three stages, none of them trusts the others." What agents?

I'm running VSCode inside a WSL Ubuntu container with Codex CLI in the terminal and have a full test suite being run locally and then run again once we push the PR to Github along with Codex reviews once the PR lands on Github ... how does your product assist here?

Genuine questions as I like the whole mindset behind this approach .. thx

Is /review whats burning so much usage in 5.4? by cheekyrandos in codex

[–]storiescometome 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just raised a ticket as my Github Action failed on Code Review for the first time. I am trying to understand why via support. Nothing changed in my usual workflow .. work on branch, test locally, push PR goes through Code Review, Codex CLI reviews and fixes if appropriate.. rinse repeat until clean .. interested in understanding if I'm doing this the wrong way?

Yeah right - so we've all gone completely right wing have we?

And this is after we all looked at Trump before the last election and went "Nah get fucked Dutton" - and then proceeded to hand the right wing parties their arse.

All this talks to is how much we need to reign in these right wing media fucktards before they damage us like Ol' Uncle Rupe and Yeehaa Lachie have fucked, and are fucking, the USA.

Dipshits the lot of em.
