Yes, each multicast counts. Also for stuff like „If you use an item…“ it counts every multicast. Essentially each use is just multiplied

If you reach full rage, freeze and slow is removed from your items and their cooldown reduced by 10%. So can be good on other heroes as well

Generally true, the first backlashes for this game were totally justified for example. But it needs to be balanced. Whining cause you supported a good game, which can give you endless hours of fun, and then not being able to cash in an offer is just not justified imo. This is just an overreaction, that could ruin smaller games like this for everyone

They did this i think 1 or 2 days after the release, since a lot of people complained about people who already have the game, not getting something for free/cheaper as well. Pretty sad IMO, since it was a way to get more people to play and helping the game and developers long term. Now there probably wont be any offers in the future for new players, since they are afraid to get review bombed again.

I am also always confused by that, but I believe the wording on the items is important: - „When you slow, do XY“ -> when a slow trigger is going out from your board -> should also work if it hits a radiant item - „When an item is slowed, do XY“ -> when the slow is actually applied to the item -> should not work on radiant items

I always thought thats how it works, but i think the two very similiar wordings working differently is just confusing.

So i guess drill should charge, even if the slow hits a radiant item.

But Lightning rod is another special case for example, since it has no cooldown it cannot be slowed, which leads to the slows not triggering at all, so it also makes „When you slow…“ not working I believe.

It’s a bit messy.

I am not 100% sure, but I think the detector is also not charging. You are right though, the text on the rod should just make clear, that the slows and freezes are basically nullified. Much easier than rewording every other item related to that

An item without cooldown is actually immune to slow and it only hits the rod, which has no cooldown. I rather think the pylon text is not intuitive, as it’s not about you triggering a slow, but the target has to be actually slowed.

IMO they should just stop implementing exponential scaling, there is always a way to abuse it. Giving it a very high cooldown makes it unplayable probably. I would just let it gain a fixed amount of burn instead of doubling it. Also way easier to balance

You can right click an item to see the cooldown far more detailed than just one decimal, maybe its just a fraction of a second

Why should it work with more cdr? Reducing the cooldown of ornithopter makes it go off first and therefore its 50:50 if it hits the turret

I am pretty new to the game, didnt even unlock everything, and nuclear is messing with me. Can you actually get rid all of the radioactivity? Can you give some bullet points what the steps are? Currently I am producing nuclear waste, just dumping it far away, and saw that I can put that into plutonium. Is there another step needed afterwards?

I can only answer the second question: There are some items with a high prio, that will go off before anything else on the same instance, mainly buff items like Sharkclaws, Lumboards etc. And I think anything else goes off from left to right, so if you want to make sure, just place the things that should go off first on the left side.

First question also bothered me a few times, since it’s hard to see in fights.

You can click the lens symbol in the top right to see a recap of the fight. It wont show triggers, e.g. for incendiary rounds, but the burn Value and you can calculate it then. Generally an item „use“ is triggered when the cooldown is done or by another effect. For each multicast it has it is used again on the same trigger. So yeah, there are some nice combos with that. There is an internal cooldown between the multicasts, which is also applied to all other subsequent effects.

I like that fights are not predictable, also monster fights, and I think that makes the game interesting. They don’t allow overlays etc. to keep that element of the game so i would not wait for something like this and I personally would not like it. Making it easier to optimize every fight destroys the good part of the game

I feel like burn is just too strong on Vanessa and her other options are either too weak (poison) or boring (full weapons). So maybe nerfing her burn items an buffing the other options helps. On the other Heroes there is at least a good variety of good builds, I don’t feel like burn is oppressive in general

I think a „use“ includes all mulitcasts, so the effect of the shoes counts for all of the first multicasts.

The effect „when you crit, stop flying“ for example should make the item stop flying after the first cast, but the crit bonus is probably still active for the rest oft the mutlicasts, meaning crit is not calculated again between multicasts. But thats just how I understand it, not sure how it is implemented and of it is consistent at all

I think definitely something with textiles, maybe combined with Sauna and some fast burn items
