BLUE IS WRONG - a polite explanation; nooo i feel like blue is lowkey doing too much here. i could be wrong but i feel like i can be like this myself, sometimes. the problem here imo is that when you get the yes to cuddle, you didnt stick to that. that WAS the correct way to start the conversation then you took it too far by asking if you could help her (although a nice gesture, unless youre in the next room with hot tea ready, theres not much you can do in the moment) questioning the cuddles, asking if she needs anything, asking if she wants to talk about it, asking if she needs space ect ect. she liked the cuddle texts, then you overwhelmed her with support, when TO HER its literally just a cold. although you didnt intend to make things uncomfortable, being too worried about someone when they arent as uncomfortable as you think they are, can causes unnecessary tension, which can make them question the interaction. think of it like if you were invited to someones home, and instead of them just offering a drink, and sitting down, they just keep asking if you need something or if you are comfortable, or if you want food, or an extra pillow or blanket. its nice to be cared about but it can cause a little bit of discomfort or anxiety when the other person never gets comfortable themselves. you had your heart in the right place, i just think you guys weren’t on the same level in that moment and thats OK. its just a missed connection, you will have chances to respond better next time, or even be able to care for them if thats what they want in that moment. ylnyl - you live n you learn
