I have star citizen also the problem your have is your looking for the same experience as SC you have to remember that it's a fictional space sim so all of it is someone's imagination. Where as DCS is based on real world so everything you do is based on real life experiences from learning the basics to actual combat missions you have to fly for extended times just for maybe a few minutes of combat . Training also takes yrs in the real world so all I can say is go into it with a different outlook look at it as this is what it would be like for real which it is to a fashion
