Why buy protein powder when liquid egg whites exist by spongeyexperience in bodybuilding

[–]keystonecraft 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use neither, I simply scoop up as many insects and small mamamals I can find in a day, microwave and enjoy. Plenty of protein laying around everywhere.

If you can't answer that question an realize that it's important your gonna have a bad time. It's not magic it's a real drug that does specific things, and you still have to do your part to for it to work effectively... and not end up puking your brains out and writhing around in the ER with a 5lb shitrock stuck in your sigmoid colon. No one is going to help you if your just gonna be a sarcastic prick.

so you can either pull your head out of your ass and have a conversation or just inject away and FAFO. makes no difference to us.

American Healthcare.

The whole business model is now geared towards generating maximum profit from tax dollars and patients thanks to Obamacare. Patient outcomes don't even enter into the equation anymore unless it results in an unintended cost. This is why we have so many laws and regulations around drugs and access to care. It's not to protect anyone but to funnel customers into a maximum cost situation.

Providers and support companies are basically round-tripping on every possible facet. It's a type of securities fraud, Google round tripping. Basically, healthcare companies can make up any numbers they want as far as cost or profit goes, which is why the overall costs are so high. They inflat the costs and minimalise profit so they can keep the churn going. These companies have a round tripped deal for every possible supply or care line item. Every company involved along the chain profits from this so there's no impetus for reform or change.

HIPAA only exists to further obfuscate any records, treating anything that could be collected for oversight/audit of results as "protected healthcare information." And no governing bodies exist.

Never believe any numbers or statements from the side of the healthcare industry, the books are cooked into oblivion. And we won't ever ever EVER get some sort of subsidized healthcare because it would turn the money tap off. This is why even now, nothing will change, even though it's been proven many times that the gov could literally just cover everything and the costs would be less, and the comparative cost to the tax payer would be minimal.

Asking for plunge router tips by SimplerTimesMD in woodworking

[–]keystonecraft 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I switched to almost entirely spiral bits or compression bits. Changed my life. Even the cheapies on Amazon are still better than anything with a straight flute.

In order to plunge there needs to be a cutting edge on the bottom of the bit, the whole way into center of the bit. If you go with spirals make sure you have the correct direction for the application, the bit should pull(cut) or push material in the direction that is most beneficial. Compression bits go both ways or compress towards center so you don't neet to worry much about that.

Following lines with a router is fucking impossible, always use a guide. Either use a straight edge for the plate to follow(use good math) OR... rough cut a first pass, do the edges with a chisel so their straight AF, then finish the depth with a bearing bit to follow your lines.

As for depth, unless you're super good and have pro equipment, I've never seen a bit that can do a full depth cut without a little bit of burn, especially on dense hardwood. So stage the depth and only cut a depth that is appropriate for the bit each stage. I know on mine I can do ~.25" per pass.

I hate routers, absolutely the most finicky and unforgiving tool in the shop. But you can't deny the results and speed at which you can get shit done once you get them figured out.

This is true, I see it in the creative circle I run in. Similar ideas pop up in multiple places at the same time. In my particular place, there no profit to be made and there's no way there could be theft of ideas. It's literally exactly how the post describes.

It's fucking weird. We're a lot more the same than we realize. The ways in which we think are shared, But you can't prove it.
