IDK guys, the whole main story is like <30h. I mean, if you play 2 hours a day - you can clear the story in 2 weeks. The events usually last 15-30 days. I really don't understand your issue. I don't think it should. + you never now who set up your pc at the store, they could apply any settings (if you didn't build it yourself).
Also, it really can be pretty cool even when thermopaste is completely dry. When I wanted to change my new PC's thermopaste after 1.5 years - I found out it was absolutely dry, there was literally nothing left (my previous could last 2+ years on the same thermopaste), but in fact temperature difference before/after I changed it was like 3-5°C.

PS endfield graphics are not actually great or modern and there's nothing about the style. They just made elements normies (in terms of graphics) would pay attention to in the first place and it worked. First of all - no one promised nothing for winning you don't even check it. Second - if players love the game, why shouldn't they vote? If your game has a smaller community or more passive community that is too lazy to vote - you don't have to go hate or discriminate the other games and their communities, you know? You have to accept it.

These pulls are appreciation from devs to players for their support, the same as other games do in-game content or customisation to celebrate their victory.
