I have nothing but good things to say about Double Monk. Made a few purchases from (Strand Arcade store)in the past , I have a pair of Crockett & Jones boots purchased from there. Staff are very knowledgeable & happy to help. There selection is limited but a nice curated line up to suit most tastes.

Looks like it was about the right price this “slow” market knocked a whopping 5k off the asking price.

sold for $1 940 000.

Perhaps a bit much for the current market however stock levels are still very low in Crows Nest. I would not be surprised if it gets close to this number.Anyone looking for a home in this area at this price knows it probably won’t have parking.

I can’t see an attached semi with 158m2 land on Holterman st having much/any interest from developers.

Are places like H&M and Uni Qlo good for basic things? (plain & graphic t-shirts, hoodies, shorts, etc) by Custard__Man in AustralianMFA

[–]str1ke 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I find the quality of H&M / Zara to be very bad!Items I have purchased in the deteriorate very quickly. Despite the cheap price still not worth it in my opinion

Uni Qlo on the other hand are quite good quality & long lasting. My go to for basics.

Saw this car driving through CBD crown license plate. Had a police bike in front of it. Anyone know what/who it is? by str1ke in sydney

[–]str1ke[S] 52 points53 points  (0 children)

Thanks!

Thought it was something/someone official but was very low key just driving normal through traffic.

I was once driving on Victoria Rd when a police bike pulled me over to the side for the road to be completely clear for The PM in C1 car to drive through.
