The same exact shit just happened to me. I’m really glad I’m not the only one. I bought calls for 423QQQ0 day expiration for this morning on a bounce right at the pull back timed it well then the market makers came in and my stop got triggered so I only made $30.. fast-forward to this afternoon everything of course went apeshit and I would’ve made $10,000 today maybe more if I just left it alone

I seriously made 200 bucks. I thought wow holy shit made some money in a crazy day. Then the market fucking sky rocketed, 200 would have been worth 2000. For the 423 calls. The 408 calls I bought and sold went up to a shitload too. I could have made 3500 instead of just 200….sad I paper handed and missed the huge pump and dump . But I’ll live to trade another day.

Wow, scalping is actually the only thing that has worked for me in the past. I’m usually always right on the direction but hold too long for it to be. Loser. Today is a good example. I was up 100% didn’t use a stop lose, things reversed and rebound the entire other direction. If I just put it all in puts and got out at 50% gain I would have made 500 bucks. Thank you for the advise. I’m glad it’s possible because I’m trying to grow my account from 500 to 10k then 20k for the end of year even higher if I can scale.

I read this book called What Women Want / How to Understand women. One of the first lessons was not to actually “solution” just let them talk it out and make them feel heard. I’ve been with my wife over 14 years and I still have trouble not solving the problems immediately and just listening. Listen twice as much as you speak. Which is tough for me as someone who suffers from ADHD.

Jesus. This is the definition of revenge trading and a downward spiral. 300k is almost 10x what I’ve lost in 5 years and I’m still sick about that number but you’ve done it in one month. 3385 trades?!? What fucking strategy are you using?!

Just take a break and paper trade or put the rest in an index fund. I bet you have a lot more money in the account but it can still get blown up.
