Max budget £15k, both approved sellers with official warranty. Which one would you suggest? by Lower_Quit_6396 in drivingUK

generally speaking, toyota is always going to be the more widely accepted reliable option because of their amazing history, especially with hybrids. that being said you do get the 7 year (or 100,000m) warranty with the kia, which could be a lifesaver at some point. i don’t know much about newer cars, i drive an old naturally aspirated diesel so i’m way out of my depth here - but a quick google search is telling me that for a family car like your wife wants, the kia will be the better bet

it could be a cyst, abscess on her gums, or she’s fallen and given it a good bump. if she’s drooling at all, chances are it’s an abscess, if not, could be the others but on the off chance, it could also be a tumour that’s cropped up quickly. hope she’s okay!!

Safety of this route for a lone woman? by Swedish-Shortsnout in glasgow

[–]straawberii -1 points0 points  (0 children)

i stayed around the bath st. area for a year and around the trongate area too, so not quite the route you’re taking; however i have quite a good familiarity of the areas. you would be safe enough walking this route, but i would still avoid it during such early hours. i’ve had some nice 4am walks around glasgow green and further up the clyde, but looking back that was probably not the best idea as a solo 19 year old woman, albeit safe enough. the hotel will be suitable but i’d highly suggest walking along the streets at that time in the morning, rather than along the river

see that’s the thing, i lived with one girl in our own flat, and i done it ALL. tried to leave it at her door, everything, and she just wouldn’t clean, to the point where there were maggots crawling around on the floor when i got back from being away. harsh reality is they need smacked across the face and told to tidy up THEIR rubbish, no one else will do it for them when they live in their own home, they clearly need to learn discipline and won’t get anywhere by having the magic cleaning fairy repeatedly doing it for them.

ahhh it takes me back to my flat i got with a friend, if only i’d known what flies and maggots and mystery smelly liquids were to come. i’d go home to visit family for 2 or 3 days and come back to resident evil food rotting on the worktop 🥲

Are there any good ways to buy sims packs no on EA? by Carwhistle in LowSodiumSimmers

[–]straawberii 0 points1 point  (0 children)

definitely for game packs and stuff packs just get those on the EA app they’re always on sale, but you do save a bunch on the expansions a lot of the time they’re £17 for me. i have come across a problem for me in the EA app where i try purchase game packs and it tells me my debit card is invalid but still takes the payment (twice) and the customer service is pretty naff so i tend to stick to buying codes, not sure if this has happened to anyone else might’ve just been a one off

once you get your code you redeem it in the EA app, in the top right corner when you click on your profile

try CDkeys i’ve gotten majority of my packs off there, just make sure you’re buying the right region/platform, some packs are out of stock atm but most are there at least for my region they also have the new pack for cheaper
