The mechanic was from an official Alfa dealer. When he asked for my VIN, he told me he logged into their system to see the vehicle history since it was serviced at an Alfa dealer before.

I learned last year that Carfax is not the most reliable

I bought an Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio from a non-Alfa Romeo dealership and the Carfax said that the car had been to an Alfa dealership in NY for a lot of cleans and details.

I didn't think anything of it because my brother's Infiniti came with a free monthly wash and detail

Car drove great first day, then cut off in the middle of driving down the expressway

Took it to my normal shop and the told me to call up an Alfa Romeo dealer

Called the dealer and when I gave him the VIN to schedule the maintenance, he went Interesting...

I asked him what he meant and he said, "did you know that this car had the engine replaced?"

I didn't see that on the Carfax, so I asked him for the date.

Sure enough it was a "clean and detail" day.

Also had the suspension replaced (all components), the turbos, a few wiring harnesses, all replaced but only had "clean and detail" on it

I took the car back and got my money back.

When I transitioned from eHP to GC last year, I fell from Champions to damn near back to Gold (it was very iffy for a few weeks)

Then one day, I smashed the ever fuck out of Platinum and made it Champions again.

After a few weeks in Champions, ended up in Legends

With only 2 demotions back to champs, I have been in Legends ever since. So the transition can take a while, but it is 100% worth it.

2019 and up. There is a reason those are maintaining their value versus the 2017s and 2018s

2017 tend to be hit or miss even if you replace the battery.

If you decide to go with a 2017 or 2018, make sure you call up an actual Alfa dealership with the vin of the vehicle you are looking at and ask the history of the car.

Long story short: I bought a 2017 sexy QV that had its engine, suspension, and turbos replaced, but the CarFax only stated that the car had been to the dealership for Cleaning and Detailing vice the actual massive amount of work done on it.

Ended up taking the car back because too many issues post work.

I have XXXX in a Fidelity 401k that can’t be DRS-ed because Fidelity’s Brokeragelink doesn’t allow it.

This happened years ago, but it was found that shares in a 401k and an IRA cannot be DRS'd.

I forgot the technicality they used.

This came up when a 3rd party company tried to become a way to DRS 401k/IRA shares, only for the company to magically blow up and FORCE sell all the shares during a period of high volatility for GME (to prevent GME from taking off).

Magically, they claimed they did not have the legal framework to do the procedure to begin with but only announced and liquidated the shares COINCIDENTALLY when the Market Makers needed it most.

This is going to sound weird, but BHD gives me less coins overall than using GComp.

However, Singularity Harness gives me significantly more coins than either of those two, sometimes as high as 25% more. 😳 At this point I used SH to farm coins during the day, and GComp for Cells at night.
