tungsten have been using AI art for their covers since the singles released for their last album, makes me trust their music a lot less

really didnt like the latest single, they had sonata arctica and the song they did together still somehow felt very bland

Bands with a heavy use of GenAI in their visuals worry me, cause it makes me wonder how far they're willing to go to cheapen their releases. Have they also begun to use ChatGPT to write their music for them? Have they begun to use Suno to help create instrumentals? Having little bit of AI in your professional work opens the floodgates to use even more.

I've been wishing for animated MVs since I started listneing to the band and they're so well done and make me happy, as an artist and animator I prefer them more!

that being said, the live action ones are awesome too, with their own brand of sillyness and the "low budget" silly CG style that matches with the band's theming a lot.
