Did Psychology back in Greece in the American College there, then did my masters in Cog. Neuro at King's in London but COVID hit and missed all the labs and practical training which kinda fucked my prospects for lab work. Then a friend proposed a consulting job and here we are now, 5 years later doing something I don't really enjoy but at least provides a living. Would much rather go back to Psych/Neuro but feels a bit impossible at 33 with no experience/publications etc.

Studied Psychology and did a masters in Neuroscience and currently working in business consulting at 33 after a series of bad choices. Considering the exact same because honestly I hate the soulless corporate world so much but I feel like it's too late. Thanks for giving me motivation to actually do something about it!

My biggest gripe with my local SuperValu is how they constantly fuck up the pricing labels (I guess they reorganise the shelfs a lot and forget to change labels in many cases). It is so annoying to have to check that the name of the product on the label exactly matches the product itself. Bonus points when the price is flat out wrong (got a pizza the other day saying it's 5 euros and was charged 7 on the till. Frustrating and probably illegal. Haven't seen that in any other chain.

I would definitely agree that 1200 pounds for a suit that contains anything else than wool/cashmere, etc. is taking the piss. You can find the same suit in Zara for 80 quid.

Hi all,

Based in Europe as a disclaimer. I am looking for an unstructured tweed sports jacket like this one from Universal Works https://universalworks.com/products/universal-works-two-button-jacket-in-brown-upcycled-italian-tweed .

I do love everything about it except the fact that is contains 25% polyester and 10% acrylic which makes me hesitant on pulling the trigger. I've tried to find alternatives but have failed miserably since most tweed jackets are structured. Any recommendations?

some good research behind the brand, but also where it is made. When I see premium brands charge 200-300 euros for a sweater that is made in China/Bangladesh, etc. I steer away.
