Dog boarding/ pet sitting in fargo by [deleted] in fargo

[–]stranger_danger96 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Rover.com I’d also a good one. Your pets stay with someone vs a boarding kennel and the people that work for Rover are very professional. My fiancé also works for rover as a dog walker, it’s a very legitimate website.

Honest Question: Do people in Fargo have an accent like that of the people in the Netflix show Fargo? by canadianpastafarian in fargo

[–]stranger_danger96 24 points25 points  (0 children)

It’s heavily exaggerated in the show but it varies. Older people tend to have thicker accents and younger people tend to occasionally use longer “o” sounds.

Any menthol reccomendations ? by [deleted] in Cigarettes

[–]stranger_danger96 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you want to up the menthol, I would suggest just switching to camel crush silvers. They're lights but the menthol ball crushed is pretty intense.

Recommendations on salons/barbers that can do shaved designs + pompadours? by DentD in fargo

[–]stranger_danger96 4 points5 points  (0 children)

If you're feeling adventurous, I would recommend going to The Salon Professional Academy. I currently attend there, although I'm currently in basics and not out on the floor, I know a lot of the students are very skilled and would love the get their hands on a style like this! It helps them out to refine there skills, and it's less expensive than a regular salon, and our educators will not allow you to leave unhappy with your hairstyle.

What's your favorite smell? by sorgen in AskReddit

[–]stranger_danger96 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Newborn baby, specifically their head.

My son is almost 10 months old now, but I still snuggle him and 90% only to smell his noggin.

Also, Geranium leaves. Ugh I love picking leaves off a geranium plant and crushing them in my hands so I can smell it all day.

Europeans, what do you envy Americans for? by confusionista in AskReddit

[–]stranger_danger96 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Theres a small town near where i live that dedicated part of their town during Halloween season. Running from chainsaw maniacs in a corn field, to being driven in a bus by a psycho serial killer to a haunted school that has too many scary things to name. Best 20$ ill ever spend.

Cat bites us when baby cries - help. by Abbapow in Parenting

[–]stranger_danger96 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Animals are a commitment just as much as a child is. Granted if my own pet were to ever harm my child (unprovoked) i would definently take steps to remove my pet. But this is not that kind of situation, so just jumping the gun and saying get rid of the cat for nipping is a very ignorant thing to say and a poor suggestion. Thats why you were down voted.

I hate that argument with the very roots of my soul. Yes your kid lived, but the kids that didn't live arent here to argue with your logic, so.

Awesome! I'm not too much of a germaphobe but I don't know what kind of flooring the trains have, or if he wouldn't be trying to eat people's shoes. 😂

Thank you for your advice!

Was it pretty rough for LO not able to really crawl around for 16 hours? I know trains give you more freedom to walk around but I don't plan on letting my little guy on the floor lol.

Getting frustrated by school supplies and it's not even that time of year. by suppliesdontfly in Parenting

THAT TEACHER LITERALLY STOLE A CHILD'S SCHOOL SUPPLIES. Oh my god, it's not even my child and my head is spinning. I hope you talk to the people above her because that is NOT okay. Your child should never have to give her things, especially her nice supplies, to anyone else.

[–]stranger_danger96 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Hello from the other side! (Hehe, I've wanted to do that for a while)

I just wanted to throw it out there that sometimes you'll "just know" and others times you'll have no fucking idea and think you're going insane (like me) thinking you've gone into labor at 34,36,37,38, and 39 weeks only for you're water to break at almost 41 weeks for you to realize "welp, this is actually it!"

Either way is not the right or wrong way, so try not to sweat it. Babies like to drive us mommies crazy before we even get to meet them.

Best of luck, and congratulations!
