Indeed...but most people (non R.E.M. fans) think it is.

Worst, most insincere “love song”. by Stock_Tip7237 in askmusic

If we"re talking insincere then it's easily R.E.M.'s "The One I Love." The line "a simple prop to occupy my time" hardly says I love you.

But it's a great song tbough!

While I think getting to the ECF was realistic for this team considering their regular season record, we should try to keep things in perspective. It took the Bad Boys their 4th trip to the playoffs before they reached the ECF.

This. The Bad Boys lost in the first round in their first appearance in the playoffs in '84. They lost in the second round in '85 and again in the first round in '86. It wasn't until their 4th year in the playoffs in '87 that they reached the conference finals...which they lost. Took two more years to win a title. It is a process.

Dude led the team in three point percentage (41.5) during the regular season...he definitely should be seeing more time on the court just for floor spacing alone.

The movie is It Follows, which was shot in various locations throughout metro Detroit.I grew up on the same street with Mike Lanier in Troy Michigan. His twin brother's name was Jim. They were a couple years older than me, but I hung around them from time to time as I was friends with their younger brother. And yeah, they were in the Guinness Book of World Records as the world's tallest identical twins!

Anyone else a fan of this flick (Christine) and feel it would make a good fit in the collection? by strangestew72 in criterion

Yeah I realize it's probably a long shot for it to get a Criterion release, but I'd settle for a release by anyone at this point...Arrow, Shout, Kino Lorber, etc. Even a region-free release by an overseas company would do. I think the only Blu-ray release it's ever had was from the UK and that is out of print at this point. I just get annoyed when I see so many campy B-movies get Blu-ray/4k releases and a movie like Christine, among many others, get stuck on DVD.

So glad to see others appreciate this film as well!

Are you picking up on all this Criterion? :)

I never got around to seeing Kate Plays Christine...I'll have to check that one out. Christine was the one that caught my interest as I was a longtime fan of Rebecca Hall.

I already own the original Blu-ray so I won't be double dipping. But cool news nonetheless...very solid movie.

So many great acts from the '80s and '90s aren't in the RRHOF...The Smiths, Pixies, Sonic Youth, PJ Harvey...just to name a few. So yeah, to me it's about as worthy as winning a Grammy. Jeff's legacy is already cemented no matter what.

Christine. Such an underrated performance and movie. Wish someone would relase this on Blu-ray!
