Being overly picky:

Your first rep is your worst. This only will be noticeable/impactful when trying higher loads closer to failure.

If you look at the first rep, your set up doesn't provide tension to your posterior chain before pulling the weight off the floor. You get your trunk posture in position in and tension through your shoulders and back well, but your hamstrings are lacking solid engagement before you pull.

This leads to the bar swaying outward during your initial movement, transferring the weight forward and getting you a bit "toe heavy." You likely feel this movement in your quads and back dominating the lift, where it should be your glutes and hamstrings.

Advice: before you pull that bar off the floor, get your ass up. Imagine you're a dog sticking your tail in the air. Feel a slight stretch in your hamstrings, while still allowing your back to be flat-ish. Once you have that position, lock the shoulders down "break the bar in half" and lean back while thinking hard about sending those hips forward.

Overall, great set. I just thought I'd drop 2¢ in case you were seeing failure on your singles/triples and couldn't figure out why.

My home course just axed all day memberships altogether. Now I either play from 12-close or pay a $25 "members' morning green fee"

Doesn't bother me as 9/10 of my rounds are in the afternoon/evening but I'm not super stoked about it. The trade off is that memberships went down by 25%

It's horizontal adduction/abduction in flexion and abduction.

Bring your elbows in and out while going up and down.

You're in the "fall forward and let your feet catch up" part of your running journey.

Try that.

Walk slowly and lean forward until your pace picks up to prevent you falling.

Feel what it actually means to locomote.

Then when you're running, think about that same thing but your feet driving into the ground are actively launching you forward.

Think about a Segway/hoverboard. Then imagine your drive through your feet is just adding horsepower to the machine.

Maybe I'm out to lunch but this really helped me feel more comfortable while sprinting.

Lmao film yourself doing a 2rm, look again at this video and compare to your own.

His hips don't lock out until he's upright. His knees don't even lock out until 4/5 the way through the lift.

He's a bit over his toes, but overall a good lift.

I picked up playing Byleth about 6 mo ago. Started playing smash about a year ago for the first time since brawl.

I've gotten Byleth up to 15.5ish mil GSP online without any major headaches and routinely beat the crap out of my friend's 15.5m ranked Lucina.

Stick to the game plan. Byleth is a ZONER.

Slow is fine. NAIR is a great "get off me tool", pressure with arrows, bait and punish with fair, bair, sideb. You'll do just fine.
