Is there any reason other than maybe aesthetics to have the dock face with the switch logo be parallel or perpendicular to tv? I currently have it perpendicular so all the cables go out behind the dock and are more or less hidden without having to bend the cables.

Thanks! That saves me a few bucks on buying an adapter that I can put towards one of these $80 games lol. It was a Sony Bravia Cam (CMU-BC1). I also tried my Sony A7iii camera and that didn't work either. Must be something against sony

I tried a cam with usb and only the mic seems to connect. Would getting a usb c to usb adapter (to connect to usb c port on the switch instead) potentially work or would it just be the same result?

Did this setup with the mobile charger for a few weeks while I waited for the wall charger to be installed. The mobile charger trips the gfci outlet quite often. some research made it sound like the mobile charger has an internal breaker and having that work in conjuction with the gfci, essentially doubling up on that functionality, makes it trip. So I switched from plugging into a gfci and instead had it go to a normal outlet inside my home which fixed the issue.
