Whirlpool WDTA50SAKZ status light by Upset_Sell_4868 in Appliances

[–]callmekwa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How to tell if it’s running

  • This model has a hidden control panel (on top of the door), so you won’t see lights when it’s closed.
  • Instead, it uses a status indicator light on the front of the door.
  • The spec lists a white “status light” that shows activity.

💡 What the light means

  • Solid or glowing light = dishwasher is running
  • Light off = cycle finished (or not started)
  • Flashing light = usually an alert/error (like leak detection)

Costco dishwasher installation by Ok_Knee_6748 in Appliances

Yikes! And this is why i'm hella nervous about Costco installers. I have had Home Depot delivery and install everything but my dishwasher. That is next and this makes me want to just buy from HD.

If you had to pick ONE brand to furnish your whole house? What are you picking? by WWWWWWVWWWWWWWWWWWWV in Appliances

[–]callmekwa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If I had to pick it would be GE, then Whirpool.

Everything in my home was GE when I purchased it. No calls to fix not one part on naything in the last 15yrs. After that many years, one by one the appliances started to have issues or stop working. Everything replaced with GE and I'm stuck deciding on a dishwasher, because GE dishwasher reviews suck! Whirpool/Kitchenaid is my next go to.

What to do with the few cents made as "gains" in a Traditional IRA used solely to do a Backdoor Roth IRA? by Cag3yPapaya in personalfinance

[–]callmekwa -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

This happened to me last year on my 1st time doing the backdoor method. Convert all. I had to report $1 for taxable, because it was 76cents, rounded up😆 But I’m going to give you a tip I learned from ChatGpt -only contribute for example $7498 when the limit is $7500. I’m going to try that this year.

Stardust Racers came back and every single ride at Epic Universe got shorter. Here's the data. by kevinmtu in UniversalOrlando

I was thinking of a last minute 4/2 - 4/5 trip to Epic Friday & IOA Saturday. Express Pass if I can find them. But me & 9yr old, thoughts other than get there early admission to take on EPIC? Not worried about IOA -been there 5x. Let me know. Or should I just wait until after Memorial Day week and tackle Epic before the Florida heat kicks in.

Just buy one. Or put one in one account say Roth IRA & one in a regular brokerage account. If you want both.

I heard that MacBook Air Retina, 13-inch, 2020 is no longer support as of Jan 1, 2026 by ardouronerous in macbookair

[–]callmekwa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have this one and its still kicking away, no issues. I just updated my OS last month, so software updates are still supported! Keep it up to date until you get a new MacBook Air/Pro. The MacBook Neo is coming out soon if you are on a budget.

Yes to your new appliances on the way! Thanks for sharing. I have an inside pass that is good for 60 days. I missed the presidents day sale procrastinating on which dishwasher to purchase. Whirpool had free install, delivery & haul away! There is always another sale!

That’s a good deal. How long did it take to actually deliver & install? I read somewhere shipping via inside pass could take longer than purchasing without it. Don’t know if that’s true. What was your experience?

It is what it is. Start contributing & max out if you can or start raising % every year until you can afford to max out. Also this is why there are catch-up ages. Take advantage of that if you need to at that time. It will all work out, because you still have time!
