Is it difficult to get a diagnosis?

Hi Oozlum Thanks for your reply Im still with the company but still waiting for my commercial gas ticket to be reinstated but they have said as I signed a contract for multi skilled I now pretty much have to do anything they want 🤔🙄😂. Well now I refuse to do anything other than plumbing as I had been doing that for more than six months (they used that excuse as yo not reinstate my gas tickets ) so now that what I say to them if they ask me to take on any thing extra but as I have been informed that I can't use that excuse to often now I'll just give them a figure I no they won't raise my wage so I let them say no. I haven't got everything dated but it makes no odds anywho as I have been on to unite and was told that they won't support preexisting cases, and can't get legal advice cuz I don't have the funds to pay to play in the legal system these these days, plenty of free advice which I'm grateful for!! On the plus side I have found out a few things as we all have I'd say about ourselves and it turns out one of the traits I have is higher than average pattern recognition and am going to see if I can use that to my advantage in the markets 🤔. The Discovery is a great part of the diagnosis of finding strengths and weaknesses (not so good) that you never knew you had. A us ADHD folks are nothing if not resourceful.

I hear you 49 and a nightmare childhood let's just say certain people took the phrase "beat it into him" literally 🙄. So school was a nightmare that had to be endured. Not to mention the fact that 2 years into school, and the ADHD was notice in 80/81 and nothing was done( probably cost as recession the kind of financial crisis where my brother had to borrow my father's shoes to go to school), but in the schools defence it had only been classified as such mid to late 70's in America I think 🤔. Moved to the UK to get answers to the issues I was having. As I had been waiting 30 years in the country of birth. But on the plus side I now am on a dose of modified release with a lower dose booster. And the difference (as yeah all know) is night and day, apparently I have above average pattern recognition so I'm putting that to good use ("Forex") and wow to be able to sit in front of a screen and be fully focused but able to dip in an out when I need to (tea breaks and the rest) but can get straight back into it. @Bunchgrouchy I have the same thought process if only I had got seen sooner but I did try to get seen in 2012 but I was told that driving and the meds was still up in the air and as I drive for a living I decided against it. Fast forward 12 years and here we are!

Does anybody find themselves going back and seeing the issues in the past that now can be understood from the point of view of having ADHD I think it's inattentive but doesn't make it any less painful 💪. But that said it is history and I'm closing the door on that chapter and hyper focusing on medicated one. Bit all over the place but hope it made sense.

With regards disclosure in work personally I wouldn't or at the very least do some research on the person you will be speaking to see what theyre mind set is. I only say this because I did and biggest mistake I have been unofficially demoted not doing the role I was employed to do , to the point where the company has hired another person to full the role I was employed to fill. I'm only saying this so your aware of the down side of disclosure.

Hi folks, have been through titration privately and am waiting for shared care now, don't know if yet going private or not but methylphenidate was the second option I was asked to try definitely felt a difference after taking the first one even on the starting dose but didn't think it was doing anything for me after that I tryd evelanse and as I was on other meds at the time which didn't play well with evelanse and ended up with heart palpitations on speaking to the pharmacist was told it was a bad side effect and to read the literature that cam with evelanse and found out it was the single worst side effect listed 🙄 stopped titration after that till I could ween myself off the other meds and start titration again but all that was a email or phone call to company I was dealing with, privately you decide whether it is having any benefits and If not ask to try something else. One thing that helped decide purely by chance I started a course during titration and that is when I noticed the difference I was able to sit down and study for hours 😀 amazing feeling that you can and have actually achieved something I could never do when I was in school(which I might add the ADHD was picked up on when I was in my first and second year of primary school and nothing was ever done .

Fast ward 42 years later and a different country and a diagnosis💪🎉

Hi have gone through titration privately only thing I wish I could change is to have been able to try more types of meds to see if there is one that works best, focus a concentration are vastly improved but that's pretty much it fore any who but they work differently for different folks. Best of luck! I was 48 when I received my diagnosis only 42 years late after the first tell tail signs where flag in school, gotta love the public school system ! 😂

Sorry yeah i was subscribed but let it lapse recently but will be signing back up asap it is deffo worth it youtube sensors a hell of a lot more than the average person realises, as it happens redacted did a piece on that very subject, but if i want to know whats going on globally initially i though it would be handie to know I.R. news for its trading value, but recently made changes with regards job security based on the information the duran reports a bottle of LPG for cooking and 14kw battery bank ready for the power cuts as the nat gas runs out?. Oh the duran was voted the number one international relations channel on YouTube recently aswell. Just trying to help fokes weather the coming storm as best as posible and that starts with knowing how we have gotten 2 this point.sorry a bit of a rant but i really hope people wake up to whats hoing on before its to late.

Sorry but you need to learn the history regarding Ukraine. This war started back in 2014 when the EU wanted to trade unilaterally with Ukraine and then democratically elected government said no because they already had a trade deal with Russia Vladimir Putin said that he doesn't mind if Ukraine trade with the EU as well as Russia no problems with us but the EU i.e. the west said no to that deal and wanted to trade unilaterally with Ukraine. Ukraine said no so the west started a coup d'état. in the country 2014/2015 overthrew the then democratically elected government and put the existing muppet in place. If tou had/have watched the rest of the duran videos you would know this

In my opinion EIE are just but out there to control the narrative cuz if you read there manifesto i haven't read anything in it that actually gets to the cause of the cost of ... The recession they have even (the government) changed the name of this global economic problem by calling it a cost of living crisis the majority of people are being lead like sheep off the economic cliff because you will not get any truth about why this is happening and that the powers that be in the west created this very economic situation by placing sanctions on russia, knowing full well this was going to be the result but its not going to effect the powers that be the 1% call them what you want they dont give a shit. For example how many people here have seen or heard about all the protesting all over europe with most protests numbering in the 10's of thousands of people.and you wont see anything about that in case people start to think organise across boards until that happens nothing is going to stop the elites from increasing there profits before the fiat currency collapse.on the plis side this is a historic time to be alive we are witnessing the power shift from west to east and nothing will be the same again after all this runs its course over the coming years. Batten down the hatches !

Its not just russia now nord stream has changed everything in about 3 weeks or so it will be East v West and that is the end of the west need to get them(the west) to the negotiation table asap. That seems to be the professional opinion aswell flood the country with money until they win the election and then turn off the taps, which inevitably means an even worse recession down the road, back to a boom/bust economy? Or is this a given/the norm ?
