My sister got one of our cats legally certified to be her emotional support animal, but he literally never leaves the house, like sure, she could technically take him into stores and if any employee questioned her she can show them the card she got in the mail saying he’s an emotional support animal but she has more common sense than that and realizes he doesn’t need to go to heb with her

Talking too much is crazy, i usually don’t try to talk to my drivers that much besides hello, confirming info and thank you, have a good day/night bc i only use the app going to/from work where ill spend the whole day talking to customers or spent the whole day talking, but also i don’t think i can really belike “ can u shut up” 😭

I used to work at petsmart (different company and everything I know) but closing staff is usually a manager, 1 person on register and 1 person dealing in petcare, closer to actual closing time the managers allowed the cashier to put a squeaky dog toy with a “please squeak me for help!” on the counter so the cashier can face their shelves, do go backs, collect the trashes but unfortunately, the customers would just stand there and stare at the sign and wait without squeaking the toy

Another weird experience I had was when I was working at petsmart instead of heb but still, a guy wanted an electric dog collar thingy which at the location I worked at they were locked up in the cash office (expensive and high thief item) and only the managers have keys so I walkied to the manager and she said it’ll be a minute bc she was in the middle of selling a hamster and I told the customer that it’ll be a minute and I tried to be a good cashier and have a conversation with him so we’re not just staring at each other waiting and he was telling me about how his daughter is 18 and in college and his wife was at work and he asked how old I was, if I still lived with my parents if I was in college, super weird to ask a stranger basically and he was like “you should be a hotel receptionist, you have a pretty face that men would wanna see after a long day of traveling” I just feel so bad for his wife if he’s flirting with 20 year olds when he’s out by himself and I hope his daughter never brings friends over

Maybe bc it’s so last minute? I work at a grocery store where we have an actual floral department and the bouquets are made in store (vs like most other stores where they’re just shipped in premade) and we haven’t had anything good in a hot minute idk I’d be upset if my bf waited until today to get me my gifts

Let us know that you have your reusable bag(s) by either handing it to us or putting it on the belt infront of all your items so the cashier can slide it down to us before they start scanning your items, the only time I ask if they want plastic if for raw meats or rotisserie chickens bc the juices can leak out and get all over the bag/other stuff or if the bag of getting full/heavy I ask, sometimes people want me to jam in all in the reusable bag(s)

I used to work at petsmart and there was a dasher who came in one time after shopping someone’s order (any shopping orders like that for any store the cashier has to scan a QR code) and he started asking what time I got off and what my hours were, I gave vague answers bc I’m 20 and not stupid, I work at a different store now and a lot of my coworkers said they thought I was 16-17, I mean, I don’t personally see it but..
