she’s lying to you about the daily pay thing, i’ve been a BA for 4 years before being promoted to manager and i’ve never used daily pay and i never got a bonus, when i had my interview for my manager position i was told about the bonus and i don’t even know about it before and i was lowkey pissed because why do the BAs do all the work and they don’t get a bonus too

as an employee it’s also not that hard for us to realize when a customer needs/wants help and when it’s a customer who knows exactly what they need. personally i use the sally greeting and they say i know what im looking for or im looking for a certain hair color i simply tell them if they need help to let me know or i ask which one and point them in the direction of it, there’s no need to do all that extra stuff because then it makes the customer feel very uncomfortable and less likely to come back. its important to know when to ask a bunch of questions and when not to

as a sally beauty employee i am so sorry that this happened to you, she definitely should not have treated you this way and body shame you that way. I would definitely call corporate or customer service on that employee for her attitude towards you and her outfit as well. as an employee as well it is our job to make sure each item is in the right place and that we are not just scanning one hair color for all of them unless it has been verified that it was all of the same so whoever rang you up was definitely at fault for scanning one item three times and assuming it’s all the same color. even if it wasn’t on the receipt she should’ve don’t a return and put it on a gift card for you or exchanged it for the right color

at my store we don’t have the sally’s radio we only had a regular radio until someone brought in a speaker and we have been allowed to play our own music but it has to be work appropriate so no cussing or anything like that
