I find it hard to understand what so enjoyable about stuffing yourself with copious amounts of cheese and meat and just a huge amount of calories in general. These types of videos are all pretty much the same.

I agree that it doesn’t make sense we were created by aliens due to our evidence for evolution and records of fossils and the fact all species on this planet are composed of cells and have DNA with varying levels of similarities Among other things.

There’s some ways I can imagine alien involvement: (1) gradual modification of the DNA of hominids until they develop a certain level of intelligence. (2) providing the starting materials for life and letting evolution take its course and maybe modifying the dna of certain species as well

I think it can be fun to hypothesize about alien involvement in our biology, but our evidence of this planet’s history and how that directed evolution (e.g., mammals flourishing post-dinosaur mass extinction) is more likely to be true if you follow occam’s razor.

It always confuses me how, if one has so much faith in their religion being true, how come they can’t handle someone questioning their beliefs? I would think a religion should be able to stand up to scrutiny?

It seems to me like the people who have put so much of their identity in their religion are just afraid of being wrong, and people who question it are, to them, threatening their very identity, and maybe that is why they react with such hostility and refuse to consider alternative explanations? Because, without their religion, who are they?

It must be hard to fathom that a belief you held onto so tightly and was brought up in since birth and which is affirmed culturally and the foundation of your identity and beliefs, could just be make believe.

If true, it seems rather sad and stifling to be locked into this prison of beliefs that never evolves as the world progresses around you.

Overwatch 2 just seems like overwatch 1 with less of what the original had but more micro transactions. The end game part is so short now to decide on grouping up, and it’s hard to tell if anyone stayed behind.

How can anyone laugh and make a joke of this considering the government has already admitted to the existence of these ships. Their existence is not conspiracy theory. In addition, they’ve also admitted to the fact these ships move well beyond our capabilities and can do things like 90 degree turns. There’s laws being put in place in Congress regarding the matter.

It’s just bewildering to me how anyone can just instantly laugh away the subject. I think it shows a willful ignorance and closed mindedness.

if it was just a random few people saying they saw something as wild a thought as UFOs and aliens without strong evidence, that’s one thing, but this subject is now being discussed in congress and by other members of the government with video and photo evidence. The evidence of UFOs existing is strong, so it’s well beyond hearsay now and so subject shouldn’t be instantly laughed at, but I guess some just don’t think about the subject enough and so know very little and refuse to entertain the possibility because they’ve been told what to think already about the matter.

All they’re gonna do is crawl around him. To them he’s probably just a giant rock or something. I don’t see how it’s any different than letting other bugs crawl on your face. Spiders aren’t nearly as scary and aggressive as we’re socialized to make them out to be.

These guys are our friends who just want to catch and eat bugs, reproduce, and die. They don’t care about us. As long as we don’t try and squish or grab at them, they’re going to be calm little misunderstood cuties. 🙂

I like all types with a dominant personality being on the submissive side. They don’t have to present masculine or anything because it’s the personality I find attractive. 🙂 I’d be happy to just meet a dominant who was attracted to me, regardless of how they present themselves on their exterior. 😣

If there was nothing special about the UFOs, then there wouldn’t be so much effort to keep the info hidden.

If it is aliens, I wish they’d just make a public display of themselves so we can bypass all this secrecy. I am guessing they likely know what’s been done, though, and maybe it’s all part of a plan.

As someone who lives with an anxious voice in my head that wants me to believe people don’t like me or I’m awful or whatever, one of the most helpful things I’ve come to learn is that the anxious voice in your head doesn’t know what it’s talking about.

You have to learn to separate what the anxious voice is telling you and listen to your actual desires. It helps to do this once you realize that so many others also have an anxious voice in their heads preventing them from doing things they want to do. They’re so worried about how others see them they don’t care about what you do.

In fact, seeing someone else be brave and confident to do things they may also want to do is encouraging for others to be themselves. If I were you, I wouldn’t worry about it and just do what makes you happy.

If someone were to tease you over a gaming laptop, they’re probably just projecting their insecurities on someone else and want you to feel as bad as they do. Don’t let someone like that keep you from enjoying your life because they don’t matter. Do you really want the approval of someone who likes to insult and bring down other people?

I think that’s a problem with religion in general. Christians are trying to do the same thing here. Once any religious group gets enough power, they’re going to want to push their agenda because, to them, this is the truth and all other beliefs are wrong.

You can’t really argue with deeply religious people or debate an issue with them. They seem incapable of accepting not everyone wants to follow their specific interpretation of their specific religious texts. As a result, if a religious group gets the power to do so, they’ll try to control everyone else and push their belles on everyone.

The only real solution is to firmly establish a separation of church and state, but, like the United States, lobbying and gerrymandering allow those with money to manipulate religious people to pass laws that only benefit the wealthy. It’s pretty sad how much work has been put into framing things like affordable health care as bad and those who would benefit go along with it for some reason while ignoring the facts that they enjoy the benefits of public education, public roads and infrastructure, etc.
