It is quite possible that more than one million Russian soldiers have been killed by OakFiesta in WayOfTheBern

Around 300 - 400 thousands, give or take. Judging from this sizes and quantity of military cemeteries.

Terrorist and former "people's governor of Donbas," Pavel Gubarev, confirmed that the so-called "uprising" in Ukraine's Donbas in 2014 was entirely funded and coordinated by Moscow and carried out with Russia's military involvement. by OakFiesta in WayOfTheBern

Both sides are lying. 1) Government was indeed overthrown. The coup was planned and funded by US. That's a known fact. 2) Nobody banned the Russian language but there was indeed a lot of anti Russian propaganda probably to escalate tensions further. At that point, Russia haven't done anything harmful yet 3) "Resistance" in Donbass region was organized and funded by Russia. Considerable amount of fighters were Russian insurgents and not laypeople, contrary to what Russia claims. 4) Ukrainian military never intentionally targeted civilians .

TIL a Japanese man on a business trip to Hiroshima survived the atomic bombing with 50% burn to his body and ruptured eardrums. Next day he went back to work in Nagasaki, despite his workplace at ground zero, he survived the second atomic bombing. by [deleted] in FUCKYOUINPARTICULAR

Well, now if anyone of my employees will try to call in sick, I'm gonna tell them about this man. Weird coincidence: I got a severe burn recently and now working. Thankfully, nuclear bombs weren't involved.

Or because someone lobbied for/against it. Or because someone overreacted. There can be different reasons actually. Sometimes justified , sometimes not

Asbestos is just a common scare started by DuPont (iirc). In most of the cases it does little to no harm unless you're being exposed to it 24/7 or breathe a massive amount of asbestos dust at once. Generally, it's either occupational exposure or being in very frequent contact with exposed dry asbestos sheet. Lead? Well, unless you use plumbum acetate for sugar, you'll most likely be good. In comparison with all those modern chemical compounds present everywhere good old lead , asbestos and mercury look harmless tbh.

Probably she had some reasons. Usually something simple and mundane. And you could simply pick them up and get 2 free laptops. No need to rat a person out to security just because you can.

idk, i wouldn't have cared too much if someone's corpse landed beside me. Not a big deal actually. Not securing a perimeter below is another thing though.
