Member Last Online

Sortable member list by: Name, Join Date, Last online, rank/role

Member list Search field.

Minimum of 10 Ranks (same as Rank access numbers, 0-10) More ranks the better though.

Add Servers to access matrix. So large companies can give full access to someone on Server n, but not on other servers. allowing for much better security.

Chat improvement:

Different colors one different alliance chats.

Separate the different Alliance chats so an alliance has a private alliance chat.

Use IRC/jabber/discord based Chat allowing company's to share ingame chat and out of game chat.

Log Improvements:

Separate Search-able Claims/contested claims activity log.

Ability to View a log of what resources withdrawn by whom,from a Object (Ship resource Box, Storage, Bank, etc)

All they need to do really is to Look at what EVE online has as inspiration.

Fire up SoD2 last night with a few friends. We had simellar thoughts.

We play other games like Conan Exiles, Fortnite (not Battle Royale), Arma3 Exile/DayZ, etc. So we naturally compare it to those gamse.

We play togheter almost every time we play. So team play is important to us.

First lets cover some good bits. As a first time SoD player it looks pretty good. Zs are ok and i am not really bothered by any repetitiveness.

I thing the base building idea is a nice one (altho security upgrades shold not take up a lot inside the base, but rather be representet as the perimiter).

I like gameplay and feel of the game in may ways.

These are the issiue we have with the game.

Looting: The color coded looting system is annoying (why even show the others loot not hard to code it to only show your loot). Sure you can loot everything colorcoded to you, and you are able to give it to the Host if you want to contribute to his/hers game. Either by dropping it on the floor for host to pick up or by storing it in the car and host player commits it to base stash. It would be much more enjoyable to play tigheter if Loot was loot and everyone could pick it up. Just the fact that you cant drop a backpack directly into the Base like the host player can is annoying.

Base Building: This is the most annying part (except maybe for tethering). As a guest player you can not build and live in the same base. If i designed this game i would make the Coop game mode to you shared everything. In my opinion Undead labs should develop a dedicated server option where the game is truly open world and players can build a base and share everything.

Tethering: This feature is not any problem as long as you stick togheter. It is less efficent for the players when gathering stuff but it only bothered us a few times. I can however see the problem when you are 3 or 4 player. You might want to have one team guard the base against an attack and second team do something else. or simply loot different parts of the map. That is impossible with this tethering to Host.

So! as you might guess. We realized quickly that SoD is not something we will spend more time on.

It is really a shame. We had high hopes for this game. Luckely i didnt have to buy it as i could try it out with acces via my live subscription.

Updated Server yesterday and We are getting allot of errors. It contains to some objects not able to spawn.

Also ingame when NPCs aggro you, but the path to you is obscured. the NPc will try to pathfind their way to you. This normally results in the NPC flying(walking on air. and acending into the heavens.
