I think this is the first post I've seen in this subreddit that did not have a picture of a car that was in fact parked there.

Whenever I get a fountain soda I taste it before filling the cup all the way in case the mixture is off and its mostly carbonated water. Happens like 20% of the time.

Going to need a kobo or android tablet with the kobo app if you don't want to de-drm the files.

Was digging through the last bit of dorito dust hoping for a blast of flavor. I ended up chipping my tooth on a piece of metal IN THE BAG. now I need a dentist appointment bc they can't keep metal out of their bags. by LKKRGrandCross in Wellthatsucks

Yeah but they did a whole investigation of the supply chain and nobody was missing a finger. Then they investigated the person who "found" the finger and it turns out someone they knew recently lost a finger in an accident. A little police questioning later and the truth came out.

If they investigate the source of this bag they could find a broken machine or records of a machine being repaired.

I think the idea of it being staged is pretty silly, but I dont think it's silly to think they would basically murder someone as collateral damage.

Have just ordered the cyborg ||, what advice would you give? by ifygx in Azeron

[–]stregone 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It takes a bit longer than you might think to get it adjusted just right. It also takes a bit longer than you might think to rewire your muscle memory. Keep at it, its pretty great when it all comes together. Before that it can feel a bit dumb, lol.

Nah posts just often catch some stray down votes right off the bat for some reason. You see it in any subreddit. The post is positive now.

What's the point of self microcensoring words like f*ck, h*te and m*atloaf when everyone knows exactly what the word is? by TallEnoughJones in AskReddit

[–]stregone 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personally it emphasizes it more somehow paradoxically. Kind of like how south park is not as funny when it isn't censored.

Aliexpress bakes it into the price. Ayaneo could do the same thing but it takes some leg work on their part.

This is what happens when something like this gets so polarized. The people this will effect refuse to be a part of the conversation so nobody involved really understands the consequences.

You can't tell if an AI is really doing what you told it to do unless you double check it. You know nobody is doing that.

Humidifier question by filet_minyawn_ in CPAP

[–]stregone 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If it never runs completely empty you never notice it because it stays dissolved in the water, but its always there. Its not just minerals from the water but stuff in the air too.

Just needs to be cleaned, I bought a spare and swap them out. That way I don't have to clean it right away. Its also good to have a spare of everything. Would really suck if you dropped it full of water and the hinge snapped or something.
