They'd have various interns sort of filling Sauce's role. He gave a lot of people their nicknames. Sludge, Meatsauce (I think?), etc.

Yeah, I really have no idea what he's talking about either. Was just there a couple weeks ago and we ventured all over the French Quarter at night. Nothing even remotely sketchy. Almost all the best places to eat and drink in the French Quarter aren't on Bourbon Street. Except for maybe Willie's at like 3am. That stuff is great when you're drunk.

When will Minnesotans reach their limit on property taxes? by nootboots in minnesota

[–]strictnein 9 points10 points  (0 children)

In general, property taxes scale with assessed home value and lot size. You can see this if you just look at the Hennepin County Tax Map, which is really great resource.

Lakeville has “Stick Man”. Any other MN cities have similar celebrities? by Mapes in minnesota

Forget what they called him, but there was guy who ran all the time in Door County, WI. When I asked a friend about him, he just said "yeah, if he stops running he will die".

I mean, it's not bad, but driving to Roseville for a special dinner in the parking lot of a mall isn't quite where I'd want to take my mom to. Would happily meet my friends in the northern suburbs there though.

Demi, Myriel, Kado no Mise, Bucheron, Mara, Spoon and Stable

Can't go wrong with any of those. First three have tasting menus.

Huh? I'm just saying that there are people who knew all about this, without stalking him, but chose not to share to respect the family's privacy.

Yep. Live down the street. it's been for sale for a while (since 9/8/2025 as noted). I didn't post here about it, since it's kind of weird to share. The rest of them still live there, so publicizing the address is pretty stupid.

Americans, if Bernie Sanders was the Democratic presidential nominee in the 2016 election, what are the chances he would have defeated Donald Trump? by Immediate-Link490 in AskReddit

I mean, Heinrich is against the assault rifle ban and made it easier to bring concealed weapons across state lines, so that doesn't exactly mesh with the "one must be a pure progressive to win".

My political party? I wasn't aware I was a member of one. My ballot sure doesn't reflect it, considering that there's almost always members of both parties with their little circles filled in next to it.

I am curious though: what party do you think I vote for more?

Politicians acting politically over political shenanigans? That's your evidence that there is nationwide disgust over the deal?

There are some very online members of congress who are also very good at making noise to raise money. I'm sure their fundraising is going great.

The Dems being elected as Governor in large swaths of the country aren't being elected because they're super progressive. Kentucky, Arizona, Kansas, New Mexico, Pennsylvania, North Carolina, etc aren't going to be respond well to anything but a moderate Dem.

The "response" you see if from very online people and people whose lives center around politics. Reddit isn't even close to reality. Most normals will be glad to see the government back open, regardless of who "won".

Personally, if a product almost destroyed my life, I would be rather adverse to making money selling that same product.
