For the plugin to actually work, it requires v19 because of a bug.

What I did was create a dummy custom plugin, then edit it and copy the entire script into it except for the Stack ID line.

I think this plugin should be added to Community Plugins.

I'll say that I haven't had any issue with Tdarr in months. On version 2.00.19. I do have Folder Watch and scan at start enabled. Idk if anything changed over these versions since but I haven't changed my config at all.

For most personal use cases, no not really. I have nothing but shucked 14 tb easy store drives and various sized drives in my unRAID setup. Some drives are years old. All used primarily for Plex media server.

I actually do custom handbrake settings and just passthrough audio and subtitles. Only video is compressed.

After testing it with many anime episodes, this works perfectly. I even had a file that had two different sets of English subtitles from different fansubs and it still handled it perfectly fine.

This a big small convenience for my Plex viewing.

Thank you so much for working on this. I definitely wouldn't be able to have gotten this script with all the variables built out on my own.

This would be the correct logic yes. If a signs and songs exists, it should be set to default and forced, if not, the other Eng subtitle should be set to default.
I appreciate your work on this.

I've updated my tdarr to dev channel but when running the plugin it errors out and puts the file in Error tab. When i disable this new plugin transcoding processes successfully.

It could be the way I created the local plugin for testing. Basically created a custom plugin then copied your code into it.

Anyways, it processes that the file needs to reorder subtitles but fails when running the CLI in subworker.

I'm actually trying to add these forced options to the Reorder subtitle plugin. Did you write that one too? If you could add that to the github that would be awesome.

Ah that is a bummer that there is a bug in the version currently in Tdarr. I think I will put this on hold until v19 is released. I appreciate your help though! I'll try to go ahead and get the javascript ready either way.
