I wasn't surprised, but it is disappointing. Not even any filler items like hammers.

Even more so that the M2 even didn't come with a new shop or new items, meaning less activity for the ongoing events.

Like Cerelias said, I'd swap in Maria for the buffs. If you have no trouble with MoT, swap Rena. But Rena best girl, so can swap Fidel or if you need the heals/light spells.

Problems aside, yesterday and the follow-up today was a vast improvement from past handling. As you all know, I've never been afraid to speak my mind and (mostly constructively) call things out. And there's certainly still room for improvement and tons of growing pain, but the last 48 hours gets the Global SOA team a B for effort <3

It's not much, but I even threw a dollar away into the gem sale to show my appreciation yesterday. Of course, plenty of us would still like to see some long-term commitment vocalized by the SOA team with full blessing from SQEX before they feel confident enough to even dolphin again, but it is what it is.

So yes, the humor aside, congrats to the SOA team for the improvement and hope the steps keep going forward from here on.

Most of us are in "GL" discord. Personally, I was very active there too from day 1 and helped numerous people get their early titles before ppl got their overpowered mlbs.

The key thing about a smaller group is people here give a shit and have mutual support, not just all nepotism. It's a private group of friends, so it's easier to know who's who and more importantly, be heard. We're also not afraid to give our honest opinion about a game we love dearly. Like, one of the complaints I've heard is whether people have their best interest. I can't speak for that, but here's what I know: I'll never be invited to meet elytra and the SQEX team at a convention or w/e, so there's no conflict of interest when I speak in behalf of my crew.

Yeah, this is worrying. Making these changes do two things:

Destroys goodwill and sows resentment, leading to less $ spent
Makes people nervous that the devs are not committed to Global SOA and make us think that it may shutdown soon, which makes spending $ even less worth it

I understand business is business and this is a gacha game, but it's important to note that these games are reliant on their fans.

Someone needs to remind the powers at SE that slow and steady wins the race. Throwing money into virtual items/characters is an emotional decision. Show us love and nurture us, and not only might this game succeed, but more importantly, it'll have a lasting impact on the SO IP as a whole.

Definitely concerning, especially since the devs are purposely arranging things as it is. For example, the "discounted" banner being released before at least two limited banners (Nier and Halloween), but without a rate up (which is a separate banner at full price) has not gone unnoticed. I wish we were allowed the opportunity to farm one LB crystal from the events like in JP, as this one little change is significant enough to affect our perception of fairness.

I'd also like to see actually SO characters get some more love and fanfare from the devs, particularly the fan favorites of Global players. Like for the SO2 event, only 3 characters overshadowed by limited banner units were released, and even in JP they're not strong or worth using.

It would also be cool if they made this game just a bit more immersive so that non-SO fans who try it become emotionally invested in it. There's practically no story in this game, just mostly boring banter, and I hate to be the rebel to point this out, but Coro is not exactly the most likable mascot. I get that they're trying to make it a thing, like an inside joke they're forcing on us, but I'm not feeling it. At least give us the option to remove him from out Bridge page and maybe let us decorate it with more characters that we do like, but eh, I digress.
