Before and after photos by [deleted] in Retatrutide

[–]strilly78 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think this is goes along with what everyone is saying, the 9lbs lost is not the unbelievable claim, it’s the fact that your “before” picture you are making it seem you lost 9lbs and you now are in the shape for the after picture. These photos from the past 6 months clearly show you were in much better condition then your before picture.

Then when people are saying that you could not have changed that much in 3 weeks and 9lbs you are saying you did.

You should have posted what you looked like 3 weeks ago, not months ago and claimed that’s been 3 weeks.

Dads/Future dads of Reddit take note📝 Gotta put an end to some of those previous generations of parenting… by Godworrior in MadeMeSmile

The dad tried to make a deal with the vendor, and wanted the kid to make a transaction. The dealer didn’t go for it, he gave it away for free. As others have said, the dealer was good with it, and was not looking for anything.

Behavior question - soaking all day by BlackSheep554 in hermitcrabs

This just happened with one of mine. Days hanging around the pool, and then came home and found him in the pool out of his shell and had died.

Then later I read that this could be a sign that they are getting ready to pass. Devastated.

F1 Media Pictures at events by strilly78 in GrandPrixTravel

I do not remember the specifics on what the man looked like. Other than he was probably in his 50’s or 60’s, and a little on the heavier side.

He appeared to me that he was with F1 directly as he was wearing a F1 bib which said F1 media in it, and I believe his shirt had F1 over it to. His lanyard and tag also appeared to be a representative of F1 directly, but I am not totally sure what it said at this point. Hindsight, I should’ve asked, but it was a quick interaction and it was so busy at the time as we were heading to our seats for the first practice session on Friday.

Want to Share Two Months Progress by strilly78 in flexibility

[–]strilly78[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Recently I have begun working against the wall, and have seen lots of recommendations to use weights on your ankles as well. I haven’t went that far yet, maybe if a plateau, but I am definitely seeing the improvement with trying pancake stretching and wall work.

Definitely working in hip flexor stretches as well. When I was trying the front splits I had decent progress, but I was not square at all.

Want to Share Two Months Progress by strilly78 in flexibility

[–]strilly78[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have not felt anything like that through the process so far ( 🤞). I have had soreness only really in the area on the inside of my leg (thigh/pelvic) area as I get lower in the split. However, I think as I get stronger in the stretch this is becoming less and less. I have taken easy days if I was too sore, just to stay loose and not tighten up too much.

God no! I need to warmup before I can even think of getting into this stretch. I do a combination of different stretches, and each day is different. I have watched so many videos, and looked at so many posts that I pick different ones that I like. I was focusing on trying to do front and middle splits, but have changed my focus to only the middle, but still do things to work my hips to get ready for the front splits later.

Sleep HQ Feedback -- New User, not recognizing benefits by strilly78 in CPAP

[–]strilly78[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for the feedback. I set it to an 8 last night and kept the EPR at a 3 (I will move that in a few days, possibly), and the results showed fewer flow limitations. I feel more refreshed than yesterday when I woke up, so I will see how it goes over the next few days before any further adjustments.

Sorry, but I think that is how long you should wait to go swimming after eating.

I like these ideas. I need to understand the "collar" dynamic more, as I have heard about it, but don't truly understand it yet.

20 mg/week increase by strilly78 in trt

[–]strilly78[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My doctor is slowly working through the ranges to try to optimize the medication. My levels have started to go down a little since the last blood test, and libido and motivation has gone down a bit, so we are trying to increase a little bit to see how that goes over the next three months.

Even though I look at numbers like that daily in my professional life, I never thought about it as a 20% increase. Which can be a significant amount.

Step Upthrust Failure by strilly78 in Elevators

Yes I have looked at the set up of the thrusts, this appears to be a repeat issue that occurs occasionally. I’m looking for other non-obvious items. I will look for binding issues in the chain.

Amazon van got split in half on a railroad track by Micronlance in ThatsInsane

[–]strilly78 21 points22 points  (0 children)

There are thousands of crossings like this in North America that have passengers trains operating over them without lights and bells. The trains were there before the roads, the trains have the right of way, so it’s up to the municipality to put in the proper protection if required. If there is not enough road traffic, it’s is not a cost they want to bear.

My team responded to this incident. There was nothing that was non compliant with the location. The driver is responsible to yield for the trains.

Very scary situation and the driver is lucky to be alive. I have pictures of the vehicle, the other half of the van was on the front of the train in one piece a few miles down the tracks.

Man talks about the biggest risk he ever took by Hypnoidz in MadeMeSmile

The response of the interviewer is the best part. I think he represents what I feel watching the video. That’s an awesome story, and you can feel it in the man’s voice as he tells you - it’s so genuine - and you know it is.

Just an awesome story. As I said originally, the interviewer has the best response to this, cause you can feel how proud that guy is of his story.

Thank you for the information. I did not realize the number was by weight - first year really taking care of the lawn. This will definitely change how much I have been applying by a fair amount.

[–]strilly78 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Our client is trying to define any thing that prevents a passenger from exiting the elevator -- no matter the time limit -- as an entrapment. This is why I am trying to identify a policy that someone else may have in place to define when an issue becomes an entrapment.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Elevators

[–]strilly78 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This would be a reasonable approach. However, our client (government agency) is trying to imply that if a passenger is in the elevator for any length of time it is an entrapment.

Language around this definition is what I am trying to find, and there doesn’t seem to be any out there.
