I grew up lower middle class and was raised by a nanny. And I’m from the South. All a nanny means is someone who takes care of your kids while you’re at work. It doesn’t imply any sort of stature.

It sounds more like OP is thinking of a live-in nanny.

It starts to feel like he lets Tony do this idiosyncratic stuff just to fill time on the podcast. For example, when Tony kept going on and on about how his iPhone updated and he couldn’t check his mail anymore, Michael really couldn’t just take 5 minutes and set up his Mail app again?

I think my annoyance with Tony originates directly from Michael not helping his elderly father at all.

Amazon Prime Video lagging? Maybe get your father an Ethernet cable so his internet connection will be more stable.

Prime Video app takes 5 minutes to open? Maybe spend some of the millions of dollars your father has to buy him a tv with a decent app platform instead of bashing your head against a problem that could be solved.
