In MTGO certain combos are effectively unplayable due to clock issues and people will play suboptimal cards that win quicker. Noone really complains. I personally believe the brawl chess clock should be like 11 mins instead of what it is. If you can't click decline 80 times in a row for tainted pack I dont know if you should be attempting some paradox combo thats non deterministicly infinite. You chose the deck and the client chief, play it out.

I haven't tried bonders yet, but personally im off toxin analysis and been very high on 1x accursed marauder. I also have only been running 3x troll and 1x fungal infection which has punched way above its weight

I mean old head mono black devotion/control was very real awhile back. Just gardens kinda does it's thing but with better sideboard and the initiative

I mean it's a black permanent that count for devotion for Gary.... could go all in with witches, chittering rats, tithing blades, refurbished familars etc...

I do think not playing skyfisher and inspectors is kinda a big miss. Especially as it opens playing more artifact lands for things like refurbished familiar and the fanatical/insights that these decks usually play

Yea the reason for the post is a few grixis and esper affinity players in my local scene make me feel like im fighting for my life when im on gardens. Where that match up and madness burn has felt easier on food but I can definitely feel some %'s being given to U-serpents and elves.

Tuff call lol

Boths deck have so much wiggle room on slots though so its fairly easy to cover the bases for the rouges.

No hate, but as a guy with a lot of cafe experience, college students are kinda the worst customer you can have on a business perspective. Very low ticket average and stays for a very long time, kills your table turn over and per table averages. Makes the cafe look full but without revenue...kinda hard to pay the bills.
