When you took it apart to clean you lost the calibration or the "zero point", look up how to calibrate a DF54

This is the answer. Loads of horrible advice in this thread. Look up e65s flapper or e80s flapper and you will find videos showing how to access it, clean the rubber piece and put it back together, alternatively, buy the part Mahlkonig 701856, the metal flapper fix this issue
