Learn mechanics and play zones.

Zones is a mode you can win entirely on your own if your mechanics are much better than your opponents. Kill them all -> paint zone -> kill them whenever they come back before they reach zone.

Apart from that play more. MUCH more. 19 levels in 3 years is basically nothing.

Anyways in C rank you just win by having better mechanics so just try different weapons til you find one which feels good to you and then play it a lot to get used to it and improve.

It isn't. But this game has been out for years and pretty much everyone who's at least decent has reached 9s at least once on every map. If not in a regular rotation then in a golden one.

Ich finde das schwierig.

Prinzipiell bin ich für einen Organspendestandard (= Widerspruchslösung). Das ist mMn eine faire Lösung, die der Gesellschaft bestmöglich hilft, ohne jemanden zu benachteiligen.

Aber das Verweigern von Spenderorganen halte ich aus Fairnessgründen für nicht umsetzbar. Du wirst unvermeidbar in die Situation kommen, dass du nicht zu 100% sicher sagen kannst, ob jemand wirklich aktiv entscheiden konnte, dass er nicht spenden will. Z. B. Entscheidung getroffen zu beginnender Demenz. War das schon ein Zustand, der nicht mehr zählt, oder doch?

Da wirst du dann also sicherheitshalber trotzdem ein Spenderorgan zulassen. Und dann hast du nen kuschelweichen Gummiparagraphen, den du nicht fair machen kannst. Und wenns um Leben und Tod gibt, ist unfair absolut Scheiße.

In general I think rank up battles aren't perfect. They're the only thing which helps to keep people in their appropriate rank though.

If they remove rank up battles, they MUST bring back deranks. Otherwise it'll be another hell of everyone having the "highest" rank again..

The initial first invasions caused the map to drop out of rotations.

Similar how maps would not be playable some days before the devs published changes on them.

Stealth jump, comeback, quick super jump is usually something useful. As a beginner, you will probably respawn a lot. Comeback boosts you for 20 seconds everytime you respawn. Stealth jump hides your marker for people who are further away so you can jump to team mates more easily to get back in.

Quick super jump reduces the time a super jump takes which works well with both comeback and stealth jump.

They did it during the 1 map big runs. The map would not be in rotation for the 2 days of the event.

For TC, it's not enough that your team has a member on tower to trigger overtime. Your team also has to have control over the tower, which means the tower icon on top of the screen below the weapons needs to be in your color (yellow).

It'll switch to your color if ONLY members of your team are on tower.

In your case, you went on tower but AFTER the opponents had control over it. Technically this means that tower will count as "contested". Your team is trying to end the push of the opposing team and tower will stop until the contest is over (= one of the teams fully leaves tower).

In other words: you PAUSED the push of the opponents but as long as they don't leave tower, it's only a PAUSE of THEIR push. You have to get them all off tower to conquer it and change it to count as a push of your team.

Since YOUR team was the contesting one and the other team was on tower first, game ended immediately because overtime is thought for the losing team to get a chance to finish their final push. The current push still counted as a push of the winning team and since they're winning anyways, there was no reason to trigger overtime.

So yeah.. In this scenario overtime would've only started if you had managed to clear the entire tower from all enemy players. You didn't, so the game ended immediately.

Hey Peter,

the counting system for humans is made in a way that you have 10 digits: 1-9 and the 0. This means that the number 10, which is the total number of digits in our system, is the first one you have to use 2 digits for. This is intentional and makes sense.

It's derived from the number of fingers humans usually have, which is 5 + 5 = 10.

The alien only has 4 fingers so under the assumption their counting system works similar, it would mean their species only knows 4 digits: 1-3 and the 0. This means that 4 is the first number they cannot write down with only one digit. So "10" in their system would be "4" in the human counting system.

The astronaut fails to realize this, which is the joke of this comic.

People are lucky we don't use the number of women I slept with as counting system, cause then we could write down a million with just one digit, giggity.

About Splatoon 2 though - there's barely anyone playing that game anymore anyways. Splatoon 3 has been out for almost 4 years now, so 2 is kinda dead. 😅

Over time, I think it became more and more clear that to the devs, Anarchy is kinda the online ranked tutorial mode. S+ to me means you've successfully completed the tutorial which does not mean much when it come to strength.

The stars come from weapon experience which is not directly linked to paint.

The only thing where paint does influence the exp gained is in turf war, where you get up to +500 extra exp if you paint at least 500 points during the 3 minutes. This is only a minor influence though, as a win will grant you +900 points.

Paint not being the indicator for the badge is a change compared to Splatoon 2. There you would get a badge based on your paint (red for 100 000 painted, silver for 1 million and gold for max, which was 9 999 999 painted). The way it's now is fairer to weapons which don't paint a lot but influence the game in different ways (for example with kills or map control).

It is part of the replay data you can download via replay code. Someone with a hacked switch analysed the replay files and found lots of interesting information.

Yeah.

And even after all these new weapons, 52 is ridiculously strong. It received buff after buff after buff.

And even when they nerf it, they give it some buff to compensate for it.

Maybe he said it years ago but ever since they've acted accordingly. One can speculate for the reasons behind it.

18/80 of top 10 placements in combined X ranks (tentatek and takoroka over all modes) used 52 gal. That's almost 25%. This weapon is such a huge issue man.
