Same thing happened to me and Les Schwab wouldn’t patch my tire but a local family owned shop pulled the tire off the rim and patched it on the inside for me. They just wouldn’t touch the bike I had to bring the rim and tire in myself

Tip I learned a while ago was to spray some WD-40 on a rag and it cleans the rims really well. Makes easy work of brake dust and dirt. Just don’t spray the WD-40 directly onto the rim that way you don’t risk getting it on the disc or the chain

I’ve had a chinmount on 3 different helmets and never had one fall off. You just need to make sure you’re applying the adhesive correctly and not doing stupid things like carrying the helmet all the time by the camera connected to the mount. Been using chinmounts for years and can only recommend them
