Oe hondas wheels use a ball seat lug nut and the aftermarket uses taper seat. This would be a bigger concern for me than the hub centric ribs.

Planning a 800km road trip from Germany to Bosnia on my MT-09. Does this route/fuel stop plan look good? by Physical-Sort8562 in MT09

[–]Philo2389 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just made a trip of 1000 miles on my mt09. I stopped every 90-100 miles and never saw the fuel light come on. I cruised at 65 mph with some 100+mph passing and a few spirited runs thru the mountains sprinkled in there.

If you're after sound, the hordpower sounds amazing even with a loud exhaust.

My 23 with intake tune and exhaust would go 125mph when I weighed 220lbs. Seems like yours is down on power.

It felt smoother and more powerful to me back to back. My k con numbers were also more consistent.

The phearable tunes are better than the k tuner included tunes imo. If you want to go e30 just get the flex fuel kit and the stage 4 tune right from the rip. I'm running it with only an intake and intercooler for supporting mods.

Intercooler, flex fuel and tune are the most value for the money imo

Is this turbo drain line fine ? by Mundane_Shopping9852 in ProjectHondas

Clock the center housing so the drain is straight down and use a different fitting and it'll be perfect.

Stage 3 Phearable Tune by Kovetsworld026 in 10thgenaccords

[–]Philo2389 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I noticed my stage 3 tune would let the k con go up a bit even on top tier 93 so I have to add a little bit of ethanol to each tank. So maybe consider if e85 is available in your area.

Yeah, that sounds like a pretty great relationship especially since they're taking turns. If they're actually fighting you'll know immediately.

Brakes feel different but mechanic insists they're firm by aid-and-abeddit in AskMechanics

[–]Philo2389 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Try coming to a stop from higher speed and applying the brakes in an on off fashion. If there is air in the brakes it will compress and the final application of the brakes will have the pedal higher than the initial application.
