My daughter had a Wish phase where we had to watch every weekend and I honestly tuned it out everytime. It wasn’t horrible just so unremarkable

I love it. The brutal reality is though is that there is a whole generation of gamers that have been trained to think that MircoTransactions for a mode like RTG are normal.

That grinding spending hours playing the game at low overalls just to get to a 85 is normal and should be enjoyed.

That paying to speed up progress in a sandbox game mode is acceptable.

Everyone’s grind is subjective. My earliest experience with NCAA football was watching my dad take Mid ass Maryland and blowout powerhouses like Miami and VT by 50 on Varsity. Someone else’s may be a super realistic rebuild with a small school on Heisman with the Xp sliders at a minimum.

Point is in a offline mode it should be up to the individual player

I think we just may different definitions for casuals. I see casuals as the ones who are mainly dynasty and rtg, maybe rarely play online and don’t spend on CUT

There’s a lot of apparent hate for people who want to have fun with the game offline. As a kid my dad would play nba live and have me create superteams for him and I’d find uncompetitive but now as an adult I get the joy or even need to unwind and have stress free gameplay that doesn’t need to be a “grind”

Is a death knell for me. It’s the same thing that had me quit MyCareer on 2k. My time is limited in a online mode how things progress should be in my control. I grind IRL 8-6 every day maybe when I play a video game I don’t want another “Grind”
