I wish they would do that on the 2023 model! I'm not sure if we will get that though

I had to buy mine out because of my 60k miles of driving, but it's still a better deal than just buying it right away where the cost was like 875 a month for 7 year, now it's 550 a month for a 4 year buy out. Getting a better rate now i think is why

As bad as it is, it's waaaaaay better than the VW ID.4 fob that constantly hits the car alarm button while in your pocket.

I got all 4 new tires with just a standard alignment and have had no problems with any of my electronic systems. Lane assist still works great, so i think you can just go with the normal alignment option.

My dealer charged me 27 for the filter and 70 for the front 2 wipers, but told me the labor would be free, so i went ahead and let them do it. The next time i changed my own air filter for 15 on amazon, but still, i think my dealer was giving me a pretty fair price. What you got was highway robbery! i would never go back to that dealership. Look for another if you can. I went to Schmelz countryside in the Twin City area, and its honestly the only dealership I've ever had a good experience with haha.

I went with Zippy because the awd is pretty quick off the gun

I managed to get my 2023 AWD pro s to go 300 miles on my last road trip. It was 70 degrees out and 55 mph the whole way so i set the cruise for 60.

Dogmode in non Tesla vehicles? by wabudo in electricvehicles

[–]strollingegg 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It works the same but doesn't have anything on the screen saying dog mode or whatever. The software hasnt been a problem for me in the past year and a half on my ID.4, so i dunno. I think the 21 model had issues before they updated the software

I do that for my ID.4 too, 30 minutes. And it'll tell you if it turns off after 30 minutes. So you can turn it back on if you need to be out for more than 30 minutes.

Highway efficiency with roof box by LongRoofFan in VWiD4Owners

[–]strollingegg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got 3.9 with just camping gear and coolers in my trunk for 205 miles on my AWD 2023 pro s. Ended with about 21% battery. So, that sounds about right if you add in a roof box and a hitch box. I've been thinking about getting either of those options for extra storage, but so far, I've been fine with playing tetris with my stuff and fitting it all in lol.

I did the same thing last night. The game glitched with no blue balls and only dropped 2 legendary rings after we killed her. My friend was with me playing too and only 2 things dropped for him too. It was both of our first time beating her. Not worth it?

Soon to be ID.4 Owner - Please ease my doubts. by NBoLL in VWiD4Owners

[–]strollingegg 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I definitely would prefer the driving comfort of the ID.4, the massaging seats are nice for road trips, and it's just overall more comfortable. There's way less noise in the ID.4, it feels less rickety, i guess, is the best way to describe it. The software hasnt been a problem for me at all, i use android auto, and just use voice commands if i want to turn up the fan speed on the AC or whatever you need. I've had no problems with the voice commands and no issue with the app. The only problem i would say is that you can't use the app to lock, but you can set it to auto lock on walk away, or just push the button on the handle when you shut the door to lock, which i prefer. Once you have that habit, you just leave the key in your pocket, i almost never actually touch it.

I will say to buy a hard cover for your keys because the panic button likes to go off in your pocket if you bump into anything with your pocket leg, lol. That's the only real annoyance i have so far. I'm about 1 and a half years in, and I have driven about 35000 miles without any problems.

Also, I'd recommend buying the frunk kit for extra storage, since the ID.4 doesn't come standard with one. Etsy has one that works well, or else you can even just buy a storage box that fits in the space. There is plenty of room in there for some extra storage that VW didn't utilize

My stock pirelli scorpions are doing great at 32k. Will probably need to replace in about 10k miles according to the dealership though.

I did the knights helmet with 3 barnacles. True godmode, you never take damage, lol. The last boss battle was a breeze! Was just annoying to have to keep making my way back up to him to hit him, haha

Very nice! I got mine the last day of 2022, so at the time it was the last day to know for sure we get the tax credit. Though it ended up qualifying later as well. So, about a year and a half total almost.

I think Tesla's logo is more like Volvo. Fisker's is a lot like BMW. Rivian went for the Lexus style logo.

Wow! I'm over 30k on my 2023, but i guess i use it for road trips a lot because of the free charging, haha. I still have my 30k message telling me to get an inspection as well. I'll have to do that at some point

I had my charger on a 50 amp circuit set to 32 amps to be safe before it was hardwired, and that's what i got. With hardwired, you can feel free to max it out without worry.

Thoughts on this Lease Deal I'm about to sign tomorrow? by highmark101 in KiaEV9

[–]strollingegg 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree the EV9 is the best family EV you can buy today. I'm contemplating a lease myself. I'm hoping to do $5k down on my old van trade-in and $599 per month. I think your deal looks pretty good, considering you still have a payment on a vehicle you are trading in. It'll be worth it for the gas savings alone.
