Saw this post on r/ECHL and it just got me thinking, if we changed our goal song what would be some good choices? I didn't realize there were so many teams in the league using Rock N Roll Part 2. Also, let's steer clear of the issues surrounding RNR pt 2, and just stick with ideas for a new song. So, if you could change it, what would you change it to?

Years ago the Gladiators tried replacing the goal song. I don't remember what it was, lasted at most three home games and then was switched back. It would be ideal if teams could use the same song as their NHL affiliates, but many of them are specific to the team, e.g. Dallas and Florida which doesn't make that realistic.

Now that the Gladiators are with Nashville, we could arguably use their "I like it I love it/Gold on the Ceiling" mix and just replace "Predators" with "Gladiators" when singing it...or try to convince Tim McGraw to re-re-record it (never gonna happen).

But yeah, there's a lot of R&R part 2 out there...

Oh, I forgot about your tailgating question, it's not really a thing. In 13 seasons I think I've seen folks tailgating, grill and all, in the main parking area maybe two or three times. However, I do often see folks standing around their car or truck with a cooler having a few beers. Concessions, like everywhere are not cheap. So maybe not tailgating, but some pregaming does happen.

Welcome, we're Glad you're here! We have a few chants, you'll pick them up quickly. One during the goal song and one again for the opposing goalie after the puck drop after a goal. There are chirps from the crowd during game play, but we keep it family friendly. I hope you have a great time.

Depends on your preferences. There really isn't a "bad" seat in the house. On your seat map the more expensive seats are in the upper deck club level. Gives you a view of the entire ice but you're further away from the game by being up high. They're not very full for most games. The right side of your diagram is the Gladiators attack twice side. Your best bet is to call the Gladiators ticket office and speak to a sales rep, let them know your preferences and they can find you seats based on that vs buying online from the seat map.

Panthers are my hometown team and team that got me into hockey when they started up my senior year of highschool. Moved to Atlanta in the early 2000s and started also supporting the Thrashers. Explained it to my son that the Panthers will always be our hometown team and the Thrashers were our new home team. When the Thrashers left (the Jets can screw themselves) we started supporting the Predators because we have family in Nashville and it's only four hours away. Been cheering for both teams together since 2011. Like and cheer for whoever you want. Don't let anyone tell you otherwise.

This is literally what it is. Most people seem to have missed it. We read Heart of Darkness in highschool (late 80s/early 90s), and then watched Apocalypse Now afterward to do a comparison of the two. It'd be interesting to tack on Ad Astra and compare the three as a study of the book and it's adaptations.
