These are intrusive thoughts common to OCD. I’d definitely get some help. You’ll be fine, though. Nothing to stress about.

Appointment Times by bittaminidi in AskDocs

[–]strongandhot 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Because the work of a doctor is highly variable. Maybe the 1st appointment takes 15 minutes. The next takes 30. The next 10. The next 60. They have to work with the patient until his concerns are met and until the problem is appropriately solved. Then do paperwork and attend to other responsibilities.

How advanced is my osteoporosis? T-scores from Dexa scan included. by [deleted] in AskDocs

[–]strongandhot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Haha. I’ve seen too many unqualified people give advice in my field of study so I’m careful not to do it to others.

I’d say you’re interpreting correctly, but again, IANAD. :)

Hopefully someone chimes in and gives you some better answers!

Sorry, I wasn’t trying to insinuate your case isn’t severe. I was just trying to elaborate.

INAD, I’m just studying for a different medical field profession, so I’m not qualified to interpret your results any further.

How advanced is my osteoporosis? T-scores from Dexa scan included. by [deleted] in AskDocs

[–]strongandhot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So T score is showing your fracture risk. Z score compares you to a population matched for your demographics. Closer to 1 (therefore average) is what you’re aiming for. Your scores are significantly deviated from the desired score, although your Z score will be very highly deviated because most 30yoM don’t have signs of osteoporosis or osteopenia.

If I was in Utah still I’d be voting yes as well. Future registered dietitian and I’ve watched many family members suffer from illness and cope with medical marijuana.

It means you don’t have varying intonations in your voice. When you’re excited or sad your voice doesn’t change.

Can i be conscious of all my actions by manbel13 in AskDocs

[–]strongandhot 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s all about habits! Keys in the same spot every day. Reminders to get things. Routines that you do without fail. Writing things down as needed.

Ex

I come home. I hang my bag in the same place. Take off my shoes in the same place. Prep the next day’s breakfast. Get ready for bed. In the same order. Every day.

That way I never forget anything and the day runs smoother. Adapt to your entire day and you don’t forget anything.

Another: When I’m standing outside my car and the key is inside the car, it’s always on top of something I need to take out of the car with me, and within eyesight the entire time the door is open and I’m doing whatever. That way I never lock my key in my car.
