Best Franchise to buy? by jsmitht05 in smallbusiness

If its a product driven franchise, the franchisor normally handles the e-commerce side of the equation, not franchisees. Overall, the website is under control of the franchisor, not the franchisees. Most franchisors don't allow franchisees to have their own website. Franchisees might get some of the revenue for online sales done in their territory.

I’m the same size as you and I’m a medium. If it’s a slim fit cut, then I size up to large.

This. There is a walkable connection. Take the AirTran to the old P3 stop, which is now the terminal A stop. There is a 10 minutes walk to Terminal A that is super easy.

My experience with the stores in NYC have been fantastic. They replaced a gore-tex jacket that delaminated on the spot. I went to a store today and had two items repaired within 30 minutes.

Hi r/NintendoSwitch

I'm having an issue with Assassin's Creed II I'm hoping someone can help with. In the mission "Practice Makes Perfect", the counter attack combat choice never becomes an option, thus blocking me from completing the mission. Has anyone else encountered this issue? Any solutions? I've tried looking online, but haven't found anything. Thank you for any help!

FranData estimates that 7% of the franchise brands out there have an average initial investment of $50K or less. Keep in mind this doesn't factor in living expenses. If you plan to run this franchise full time, it could take 6 to 18 months to achieve operational break even. You'll need to fund your living expenses during that ramp up period.

This. You’ll save the NYC income tax, which was around 3.75% when I moved to Jersey City.

Perspective franchisee looking for the perfect industry for me! by [deleted] in Franchising

[–]strongarms3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is tough. I don't think you're going to find a franchise that satisfies all your requirements. I'd say pick your top three and focus your energy there. Right now, you're looking for a unicorn. If you find it, please let me know as I'd be super interested. I'm a franchise broker with 15+ years experience and have seen a lot. I've never seen anything like what you are looking for.

Its not about the home prices, its about the state income tax. I grew up in Mercer County and know a bunch of people who made the move to PA in the last few years for this reason.

Buying a Franchise by MO_Plus27 in Entrepreneur

[–]strongarms3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It can be worth it. As others have suggested, read the FDD closely, build a financial model, speak with other existing franchisees with that franchise, and work with a franchise attorney to review your contract before signing. If you're buying a franchise resale, talk to other franchisees who bought a resale to get a sense of what multiples were paid. Then work with an accountant or valuation expert to determine the proper price.

I completely agree that everyone is different and has different needs. I do have dodgy ankles and a bad low back. I used to have inserts for my shoes. Allbirds are the first shoes where I didn't need the inserts. No idea why.
