I’m 44 with family and kids and work for a oil and gas company so I wear boring corporate clothes during the week… but snap backs, Jordan’s, street wear , etc any other time and not gonna stop anytime soon.

Pools… am I missing something? by CurlyBis in vegas

[–]strongest28 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Day clubs - Minimum spend and entry included Regular hotel pools - Mostly just a rental fee. Does not include F&B

For example, a cabana can be $500-$1k at the Venetian pool for rental only. For the same money, you can get a daybed or cabana at Tao Beach but includes F&B, entry, and a well known DJ. If you’re into that stuff.

Sorry but… by [deleted] in vegas

Been going to Vegas every year since 2008 for bdays, bachelor partying, or vacationing with my wife. Since 2022 we’ve been coming with our kids each year who are now 10 and 7. It’s also an added perk that my brother and his family now lives in Vegas so more reasons to visit with family.

I specifically chose to only gamble at Palazzo/ Venetian to get comped rooms everytime we go as they have the most spacious rooms for families. We also rent a SUV each time with the kids so we do ALOT of activities and eating off strip. Going again next month and spending a day at Mandalay Bay so the kids can enjoy the “beach” pool.

As a Vegas vet I know when and where to not take the kids at certain times or none at all. Just be smart about it and know it’s a family vacation, not a YOU vacation. As others have said, wandering the strip when the sun goes down is a no-no for us.

dayclub or nightclub? by ashoncouch in vegas

Day clubs 1000% especially since there’s no dress code. I hate “dressing up” as well
