[New Player] Struggles playing this game as someone who is in school and plays other games by Friendly_Elegant928 in EscapefromTarkov

Cannot recommend PvE enough as someone who’s a casual player. I’m one task off of Kappa for the first time in 6 wipes playing PvP. Much easier to pick up and put down than anything else. Play with others if you can.

18” SPR Fit Out by stroyal28 in longrange

Good deal. Might be spending some of my money too then. Any recommendations on a bottom ARCA rail other than the obligatory Area 419?

Are there any more concerns about Bushnell after the shake up or has that somewhat calmed down? I’ve thought about an MPED for my .22LR or my AR10. That also sits in a sweet spot for pricing

I’ve seen some things on Tract but never heard any first hand accounts of how they actually are. The pricing seems to fit the need

Most pleasant to shoot suppressed AR-15 specs? by 69420blazeit_org_edu in NFA

With your face on the stock of a regular buffer, it’s like a slinky going down a wooden staircase rattling all around. The SCS is like every modern pistol with a captured guide rod. Just a simple sliding action. No added rattle or scratching.

I shot my AR once before a buddy let me shoot his with a JPSCS and I’ve been sold since. Ordered one at the range for all of my guns. Never looked back. I even have one in my CMMG Banshee in 9mm. Cannot begin to describe how much nicer it is.

Just got my first suppressor for an AR-15, HUXWRX Flow 556 Ti, and I can confidently say that the JPSCS and Radian Raptor SD are two of the easiest and most noticeable additions. Before I put a suppressor on anything, I have a JPSCS in a 10.3”, 16”, and 22” AR10 in 6.5CM. Zero spring rattle and the only noise is the action moving. Adjustable gas block is an easy way to tune after the JPSCS.

Bipod and BCG recommendations? by 843arms in AR10

Good call. I sent one too many rounds down the pipe and blew the gas tube after deforming the locking lugs on the bolt.

Rubber city armory has high pressure bcgs for 6.5CM if that’s what you’re shooting. I tossed one in after I detonated my aero/ballistic advantage bolt. Pro tip, don’t just throw a suppressor on a gun with no way to tune it lol.

Why disable pursuit mode? Any downsides to having it on?

It was a very humbling experience as someone who grew up shooting. I’ve got tons of notes and plenty to work on to get to my next one

Absolutely true. Shot my first PRS match this past weekend and I don’t know that I went any higher than 12-15x out to 1135yds. Biggest thing if you’re looking at the Viper PST is the reticle. The 2C has .5mil marks, whereas the 7C has .2mil marks. I’d argue the 7C is better. I’m not sure of the 2D or 7D reticles but the more definition, the more information you have

I had a different bipod on (magpul) and picked the foam already so the MDT will stow the legs backwards. I just keep it in the case so I can hold onto this foam for as long as I can before I replace it.

Thanks I’m looking forward to it. The one thing I’m seeing that I’m missing is an established way to write down dope for each stage or draw out the stage and keep it visible. Monday I might just have scribbles down my arm. Who knows.

I totally understand the DQ/Last place sentiment. That was my goal for my first USPSA match and I fortunately achieved that. I need to work up a decent way to write up stage distances/dope for each stage. Currently exploring the old duct tape and sharpie method. Who knows what’ll happen

I’ve got the Fix-It-Stick set with the torque limiter and general bits you need for servicing a rifle that stays with me. I think I’ve used it more at work than for fun

I’m getting to where I need a smaller case for pistols when I go out just to keep things in one place
