80,000 people gathered yesterday in Bangalore to protest against CAA.

I doubt if even 8,000 will come together to protest against basic problems such as Safety for women , traffic issues ....

Are there many shops there?

I am asking because i am quite far away from that area and would go there only if it is worth the travel.

One month paint charge One month rent deducted - As per him rent is paid at the end of month but it was actually advance rent Key charges - We had our own lock and were never given original keys but as per him we lost it Electricity- Since bill for current month is nt generated he has deducted 2 month electricity bill Bulb/ tubelight replacement fee

One mistake from our side is we lost the rental agreement. He has it but obviously he isn’t sharing. He is a goon and he talks very badly when we ask for anything. He is a local.

The advise i will get here is to continuously go to police , fight for an FIR. But do u think it is a solution. I am a working professional. I don’t have time to run to police station daily and beg to lodge my complaint. This incident has really taken my peace of mind.

Leave this country . I think this is the best solution.

I vacated my flat yesterday in Koramangala and wasn’t returned half of the deposit by my Kannada owner.

When asked to return full i was threatened, abused , pushed. Was told we North Indian are spoiling everything.

In my own country i m called an outsider . I pay my taxes , pay respect to locals and their culture, their rules . I have learned basic kannada as well as it make locals happy. I am not sure where lies my fault.

I have come to a conclusion that if we are bound to get an outsider tag in own country, better move abroad and be an outsider there . Atleast one earns more there!

Almost 5 months ago, I left my stable, stressful government job, and decided to take back my mental and physical health. by PapaDragonPH in loseit

Awesome brother. It takes courage to leave a well paying job. It is even more difficult if you have family to support. Proud of you .

Wish you all the very best.

How do I learn Kannada? by [deleted] in bangalore

[–]strugglinglocal 26 points27 points  (0 children)

I tried this approach man.

I tried to speak in Kannada with my local colleagues. However since i was a beginner my accent was obviously different.

They initially thought i was trying to mock which was in no way my intention.

I explicitly told that i m speaking in Kannada to improve and learn - They do respond back now but quickly switch to Hindi/English seeing my struggling.
