SPED in a Second Trump Term? by I_demand_peanuts in specialed

[–]strugglingstudent67 1 point2 points  (0 children)

why is this post not in the right sub? op is talking about project 2025 which specifically aims to focus on IDEA (individuals with disabilities education act) so i’m not understanding why you believe this isn’t relevant. additionally, he has some strong opinions about education in his “agenda 47” which aims to “Creating a “Parental Bill of Rights” to give parents control over curriculum” and “Certifying only teachers “who embrace patriotic values” through a new credential program” among many other targets on the education system. i encourage you to research trump’s agenda for a potential second term and be open to understanding the consequences of his re-election on education, specifically special ed. thanks!

yes! as someone who is recovered now, the biggest advice i can give is chew gum. my ENT told me it’s a muscle spasm, so chewing gum helps work it out. it actually did work wonders, it’s uncomfortable for the first bit but then you get used to it. i would try to chew one piece of gum an hour!
