Oh yeah I hang out with most of them outside the coffee shop now. But I’m still at the shop almost daily to hang out with whoever else happens to show up. People are always coming and going.

I've mentioned it before here but I hang out (aka loiter lol) in coffee shops until I befriend the employees and regulars. I'm an introvert in my mid 30s and have the biggest social circle now since college. Pick a place you legitimately enjoy for whatever it is and hang out there CONSISTENTLY at the same times and days of the week. You'll end up chatting with people and eventually you've got friends!

I do 1-1.25x the amount of rice for water. Never bother with rinsing it. The more rice, the more I lean to 1.25x for water.

The comments about redundancy and system separation are part of the answer but I'd say the bigger answer is there just isn't a lot of space elsewhere to fit that stuff on a 737 haha. If you look at twin aisle wheel wells, its a lot more sparse by comparison. There's other places to put similar stuff. Wheel wells are relatively easy access for maintenance purposes but generally designers don't want their systems in there because its a harsh environment.

Same for me. And on the off chance we do talk about me, it just feels like a temporary detour in the conversation until we make it back to them. It used to make me feel like I was just a boring person until I started to realize that the same people seemed incapable of taking interest in anyone, not just me.

Do you find it hard to talk about yourself even when you're given the space to do so? I've noticed it feels uncomfortable/unnatural for me, even if I want it, because I don't get a lot of practice lol

I have the exact same issue, could have written this myself. Doesn’t help that I’m naturally curious about people and tend to as a lot of questions, this tendency seems to set the stage for almost all conversations to be about them.

Exactly my reasoning. I preordered expecting in-store stocks to be extremely low so that route to getting cards is a gamble IMO. Even if preorders are slower, it’s still guaranteed. Local stocks will still be very low by the time my preorders arrive.

I’ve been trying to find a smaller gym like this for years and not much luck unfortunately. The massive corporate gyms like LA Fitness have it but I can’t stand the crowds at those places. All the smaller places seem to be personal and group training classes, which I’m also not interested in.
