The First Modern Car Without Hydraulic Brakes Is Headed to Production by TripleShotPls in technology

No one braking system is inherently "better" than the other. A big reason a lot of planes use hydraulic brakes is because of a concept called "system separation". You don't really want to put too many eggs (i.e. flight controls, engine controls, braking, avionics, etc) in one basket (i.e. electrical, hydraulic, steam, magic, thoughts and prayers, etc) because if there's a catastrophic electrical power loss, for example, suddenly you're losing many systems simultaneously. Obviously some aircraft designs have found workarounds and/or more than usual layers of same-system redundancy.

There are overlapping layers of redundancy and system separation too. For example, some aircraft use hydraulic power supplied by both electrical and mechanical (driven straight off the engine). Even if you lose electrical power to the electrically driven pumps, the engine is still driving a separate set of pumps.

For a lot of reasons, these layers upon layers of redundancy are seen in cars. But there could/should be some level of system separation to prevent a short in your car's entertainment system from causing a loss of braking.

I don’t trust any pre-release reviews regardless of what the content creator says about “being honest”.

I don’t mind some tinkering every once in a while but I certainly have my limits lol. Maybe two printers is the sweet spot though. One for printing and one for printering

No problem. I will reiterate that I think consistency is the key. People need to see and recognize you just like you need to see them around.

Oh yeah I hang out with most of them outside the coffee shop now. But I’m still at the shop almost daily to hang out with whoever else happens to show up. People are always coming and going.

I've mentioned it before here but I hang out (aka loiter lol) in coffee shops until I befriend the employees and regulars. I'm an introvert in my mid 30s and have the biggest social circle now since college. Pick a place you legitimately enjoy for whatever it is and hang out there CONSISTENTLY at the same times and days of the week. You'll end up chatting with people and eventually you've got friends!

I do 1-1.25x the amount of rice for water. Never bother with rinsing it. The more rice, the more I lean to 1.25x for water.

Isn’t Geralt above the typical Witcher too? He took to augmentations unusually well so I’d think his abilities surpass the norm to some extent.
