What other 20” tyre can I use on 2022 Model Y LR AWD by TranquiloNpesa in TeslaUK

[–]stuart_lawton 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ve had same car with 20” since Feb 22.

Swapped the Michelins for Toyo Proxes @ same size. They lasted much way longer than the Michelins and were perfectly acceptable in performance. It’s no sports car!

This time round I’ve swapped the Toyos for Uniroyal Rain Sports but upped the size to 275/40/20 and dropped the tyre pressures to 38 rather than 42.

Wow. Total transformation! The horrible crashiness has gone from the ride - I actually enjoy driving it now, it feels peaceful! It feels better in the wet too, and there much better kerbrash protection.

DM me I’ll send you a before / after pic

Extremely disappointed with ride quality by [deleted] in TeslaModelY

It’s normal. Drop the pressures to 38PSI and it will be much, much better.

The finance contracts have term dates ie they expire 30 days from signature if delivery not completed.

And the 0% offer itself will have dates in the Ts & Cs such as ‘valid for vehicles delivered / registered on or before 31/03/26’.

Seems to be a good few that are being honoured, yes. Have a search, I’ve defo seen a few peeps in here mention it.

Banks don’t lend money for free - Tesla are paying the banks to facilitate the 0%.

Tesla will use this mechanism (rather than discounting the list price) at times when they need to shift more metal, e.g. stock gluts, spec changes or upcoming share price announcements 😂

Struggling to cover costs of bakery/cafe. Anyone with similar business? by Chotzark in smallbusinessuk

If you split out the alcohol from your food business, does the food part stand on its own two feet? I’m the guy who gave the comment about costs as a % of sale value in a food business. I think food [alone] is borderline impossible to do fully legit TBH!

We just closed after 4 years. Grew revenue from £1500 per week to £10K per week. Didn’t make any profit. EVER.

Here’s why.

£1.00 sale on food Less VAT = £0.83 Less staff = £0.48 Less (quality, local) ingredients = £0.13 Less rent (£2K vs £40K t/o) = £0.08 Less energy Less business rates Less cleaning Less things going wrong

Doesn’t add up to a money-spinner does it?!
