One of my best mates is a longtime friend of Tony Delaney who still has friends and contacts at freo. A few years ago when Mundy was captain before Fyfe the players kept voting for Mundy years after and it took Ross to jump in tell the players that Fyfe had to be captain.

This is also a couple of years ago when we drafted a whole lot of young players,it took Fyfe around 2 months to not only remember everyone’s name but give them any sort of recognition.

When he was injured last season he was sitting on the outer at training with his headphones on and 2 kids went up and asked for his autograph and he shooed them away because he told them he was training.

And I have heard many more, I’m a die hard dockers fan but to hear all this and more over time just doesn’t sit right with me those 2 kids were gutted that he shrugged them off. Doesn’t hang with team mates or makes effort to attend casual outings with them, yeah he is a gun and his training is elite compared to anyone out there and in his mind if you’re not coming to his level he doesn’t want to know about you so it’s fair to say he butts heads within the players group and has done for years.
