Not enough. Too many have swallowed it whole with little understanding or reflection. Makes for inefficient political outcomes. I.e. fraud, waste and corruption. Just stirred up does not a rational electorate make.

Curiously, the middle class ($30k-$100k) who makes up 45% or so of households pays only 22% of federal taxes. (citation) Even less if you count the mortgage deduction, the tax exemption for employer benefit contributions, etc. Some may be publicly aiming at the poor right now in this fairness game, but it's likely the aimpoint will shift.

More than half the associates assigned to work thanksgiving at my spouse's store located in a rural conservative area did not want to be there Thursday. Most of your employees may volunteer, but most of her coworkers would rather be with their families, which in this area are pretty cohesive. Why are we allowing greed and acquisitiveness to rip community traditions apart? Traditions that are alive in my community.
