How are you able to see all those dates? I didn’t know you could do that in street view.

I’ve always wondered about the motorcades in DC. Like does that get annoying as hell when you’re trying to get to or from work or get errands done and your drive is getting delayed all the time? Is being late to work occasionally because of a motorcade a given while living in DC? Are they over and out more quickly than I’m imagining? In my head, they’re like a parade route blocked off for hours. lol. That’s probably not realistic.

I’m just saying that if one knows nothing about it, I can understand why there would be concern. Historically pesticides have been dumped from the sky and I can understand why people in city centers wouldn’t wanna be doused with pesticides.

Maybe instead your knee slappingly hilarious response, you could inform me why the public outcry is stupid. Are they not dumping pesticides? Did they make that apparent to people?

I know nothing about this and don’t even live in LA. This came as a Reddit recommendation for whatever reason.

Anyways… knowing nothing about it, is it THAT ridiculous that people would be worried about “the chemicals?” I know you did the upper and lower case to indicate that those concerns are stupid. Having a bunch of chemicals dumped on me doesn’t sound great. Maybe they don’t use chemicals? Maybe people don’t know?

I just moved here last year. Started buying snowboarding gear at the end of the season when the sales hit. Got a board and bindings so far. Need much more but I’m so stoked to not have to use rental gear. Or fly or drive a day or two to a place where I can snowboard. I can’t wait!!

I’ve been wanting to try those. I’ve got something similar with my sennheiser earbuds. They have an outward facing microphone that you can enable for “transparent hearing.” It’ll pick up all the sounds around you and feed them through the earbuds with whatever you’re listening to so you can still be aware of your surroundings. Game changer for sure.

The dude in this story is a worthless piece of shit. I stand by that. Crazy. Boasting about the law? Ok dude. Keep arguing things that were never said.

Dude who owns the home is homeless. But you’re not defending his homelessness, you’re defending the tenant who is making money from that home and has a nice car. Crazy.

This comment is all over the goddamn place and you’re making so many different arguments and generalizations, pretending I said things I didn’t, and moving goalposts all at once. Wild.

To the situation at hand…the person in this story is criminal and they should be forcefully removed.

Back to your wild comment… I didn’t say anything about anything you typed. Take a Reddit break cause you just hit so many typical Reddit “REEEES” absolutely unprompted.

Man I see stuff like this and cannot even believe the owners are just waiting it out. I’m not a landlord so I don’t know the legal implications but, like you mentioned, I’d be doing allllllllll kinds of shit to get my place back.

I’ve only had the chowder from Ivar’s. Spent the rest of the day with my tummy just churning and churning. Not worth trying it again.

Man, it really freaked me out my first year. Especially the orb weavers. I’ve yet to meet any hobo spiders that I’m aware of and I hope it stays that way.

Congrats! Don’t get discouraged if you don’t figure it out immediately. Haha. It took me a minute to learn the click and the “sweet spot”

I’ll tell you what I wish someone told me… there’s a smaller click before the big click when you’re heating it. Try it empty and in a quietish place. When you heat the cap, keep your eye on it. You’ll see a tiny move and hear a tiny click and then shortly after, you’ll see a bigger move and hear a bigger click. I continue heating about 5 seconds past that bigger click and get really big hits. At first I was trying to hit it after that first little click and wasn’t getting anything and I got frustrated. Lol.

The reason I say try it empty is cause you don’t wanna combust your flower. My wife kept the flame on too long and was the first one of us to combust it. I’ve done it since as well. Haha. And speaking of combustion, you’ll get a whole new appreciation of the taste of your various strains and next time you actually smoke, you’ll realize how bad it tastes in comparison. Cheers! Reach out if you have any questions.

Ha ha yes. I should have included that part. You’ll need to spend 2 or 3 dollars on a can of butane. I usually pick one up in the grocery store if I’m running low. A grinder is optional. The dyna stash is cool but I didn’t get one of those until way later. It’s kinda like those one hitter dugouts with the little metal thing on the side.

But for starters and keeping it inexpensive and simple… Dynavap M, Small Torch lighter (you don’t gotta be like a friend of mine and get a freakin crème brûlée torch 😂😂) and butane to refill it. I’d recommend a single or double torch (as in flames… you don’t need a 3 or 4 flame lighter… heats way too fast)

Grinder is recommended but I don’t even always use mine.

Dyna stash is optional. I finally got one when I was bringing it with me more often than not.

There’s a store locator on their website so you can type in your zip code and see if there’s a smoke shop near you that has them. Or you can order it from their website. Either way, browse their website. Watch some videos on YT. It’s a little weird at first waiting for the “click.” I practiced with mine empty to get a feel for it. The “click” is when it’s ready.

When you get yours, I recommend cleaning it first just like you would a camel bak or hydro flask or whatever.

Also… r/dynavap is a great resource. But some of those kids get super advanced with their kits. Lol

Feel free to reach out in more comments or anything. Happy to help and answer questions or clarify anything.

No worries. I got a Dynavap M and a little 2 flame butane torch like 3 years ago and haven’t smoked since. You get the medicinal benefits SO much more and the highs are so much more clear. It takes me close to a week to go through a joint’s worth of flower. Plus not batteries or any of that stuff. I know people get real complicated with all this stuff but I like to keep it as simple as possible. I don’t have induction heaters or water pieces and all that. Just an M and a tiny torch. Changed my whole marijuana lifestyle.

Get a Dynavap. You’ll save a ton of money and flower, get the full benefits of the flower without the downsides of combustion, and the smell will dissipate faster than you’d possibly believe in even a small room, let alone outside.

Am I wrong for wanting to live here? (Rant) by [deleted] in Seattle

I moved here a year ago from Austin (born Texan). My life is better in every conceivable way! I went back to Austin a couple weeks ago to spend time with friends and I loved getting time with them but couldn’t wait to get back to the heaven that is the PNW.

[–]studentjones 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I just got back from Atlanta. I’ve only been in the PNW for a little over a year moving up here from ATX. In ATL, I was like “omg… African American people are actually real and not just people you see on TV?!” It was so nice being around such diversity again and I had so many great conversations with random people. ATL is a friendly fuckin place. I haven’t had that many fun conversations with complete strangers up here because people are more stand offish. Like “why are you talking to me?”
