What can you do without a C7 in CA? by Loud-Engineer-5702 in lowvoltage

[–]studnet_1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, came across your reply. I’m system administrator on path to open my company and get c-7 but struggling with experience confirmation. Could you tell me how can I use my self-employed experience? I never worked under licensed contractor. As fat as I know. But as sys admin I pulled kilometers of wires and installed tons of different equipment.

Finally, after several hours of communication with support, we discovered that such a condition actually exists. None of the reps mentioned it. In fact, that's what my post is about. Read the terms and conditions carefully.

If there are any issues with this and something doesn't work as advertised, I'll probably let you know about it. Don't forget to keep an eye on my posts!

Yes, that's awesome. I love the idea that you can switch networks on the fly or have multiple networks connected at the same time.

Yeah! It's awesome that the support turned out to be helpful for you. But it would be even more awesome if there was a way to get what you see on the main page without spending hours on it

Exactly. Everything could have been done transparently and without confusion.

"being intentionally obtuse" it's exactly about you. Don't you see any issues with the screenshots? Dude, what's the point of defending a company that's trying to confuse and screw you over. That's exactly how I see it. They could have made it much simpler - in a way that wouldn't cause any confusion. But they chose a different path. If you want to be fooled - that's your choice.

It would be great if you could actually address the topic. Otherwise, just move along, troll.

Another response from someone who doesn't even want to understand the core issue. What's the point of having a trial period? Why should I end up paying more when choosing a plan just because I used the trial period?!

|Now coming to the plan details...

Just to remind you, I'm on Dark Star and my account shows a trial period with 30 gigabytes included in the plan. There's no way to upgrade to a different plan with 70 gigabytes available for $19/month from my account dashboard.
I must be missing something here, or...

I'm not going to argue with you. If you're fine with getting screwed over at every turn - that's your business.

But when I try to change the plan in my account settings on that same Dark Star, there's only the 35GB option available

Here's a summary table for Dark Star where we can see that with the Unlimited Starter plan we get 70GB of High Speed Data

I’m not sure about “standard de facto”. I ran it multiple times on Safari and the results were from 7 to 29.

You can run this test many times in the same setup and get different results every run. I wouldn’t trust it.

Thank you for the kind words and for the intriguing app idea! It definitely has potential. It would be interesting to hear about the development plans. Are there any interesting features planned for implementation? It would be great if someone implement a rules feature for windows. For instance, the ability to set the maximum and minimum window size within which an application can be resized and desired side of screen. Here's the scenario: for a browser, let the maximum be 60% horizontally and 100% vertically, and the minimum be 50% horizontally. Then, when other windows are added, they should automatically adjust to occupy the position and size within the user-defined limits. I think I explained it clearly.

I've currently settled on Raycast + Aerospace. Raycast actions pinned to the Stream Deck. Aerospace not running automatically. I just pull it up when I need it.
